The final gift for my friend's bridal shower. I decided against the embroidered flour sack towel, even after all the work I put into it, because it didn't match the vibe of everything else. I'm pretty proud of all this. :D All of the projects are adaptations from Lotta Jansdotter's Simple Sewing. I think I'm in love with that book.

People in front of a Lisbon shop on a steeply-inclined street at night.
We spent four nights (and days) in Lisbon during out summer 2023 travels. It is a fascinating city, with a very different character than Porto, the other Portuguese city we visited this time. It seem more urbanized and modern, but like Porto — perhaps even more so — it is partially defined by its very hilly terrain. For people like us, who walk a lot when we travel, this was not a trivial factor!
We stayed in an area of older, narrow streets some distance above the city’s famous elevator — though we never made use of it. More than once we followed a walking route down to the central city in an area near the railroad station, following some streets that were exceptionally steep in places. This shop is on one of those steep sections, and I photographed it as we walked back up one evening, as its light spilled out onto the sidewalk and passers-by.

My first attempt at taking various pictures and combining them. Honest opinions?
Andres got me both of these things. The ring was for our one year anniversary and the figurine was just a random cute gift :)
Starting to think about Craftalicious and what I can make for my table...these are paper and fabric sew gift tags, and were the product of a craft night with a friend.

Not exactly a gift, the monks were trying to immerse some old decorations and idols in the river. Before they could reach the bank of river, the locals and children descended on them and started taking their stuff away.

I got some of my favourite christmas gifts ever from Calle last year, I've coveted some Enchanted Doll shoes ever since I can remember and so this last christmas I got the tiniest gifts under the tree ever, but the best at the same time!
The banshee crown is there just to get my little Enchanted Metal Acessory collection all together.
What I love about them is that each bronze is a slightly different colour, each perfect.
And the hand pendant I have worn every day since I got it, absolutely love it. Bought a satellite chain on etsy for it, I will show a pic with the new chain soon.

I love to paint, make jewelry, sculpture the hands on things I do in physical life. I found this beautiful easel and it actually paints the image as you stand there. It's not the same as the things I enjoy producing as gifts to my friends.
