The theme for week 24 is Down on the Farm. This is Percy a young sheepdog beginning to learn about sheep. The pup will be trained to work on the farm largely herding sheep, so is getting used to meeting them for now.

Petit-Rocher is a typical Acadian fishing village on the shores of the Bay of Chaleur which lies in northeastern New-Brunswick and about 15 minutes drive from my home.
In mid April, fishermen ready their boats and equipment for the coming herring and lobster season. Boats are freshly painted and they all look like they have just been built.
Why a B&W? Well, to attract your attention on the subject matter.
I will upload a color photo in a few weeks.

One think I love about traveling with my hubby is getting lost. He calls it going on adventures. Either way, it is a blast.
*Not loving the me and the 35 mmL. To sound like a bad break up, it's me not him. I feel like the photos look bent.
There were so many reasons why the Lucases should not get their own bodies.
1. They don't have a fixed character
2. They don't even have a fixed look!
3. There isn't any more space at home
4. Bodies are expensive
5. Full doll = Can't sell

Ulla e Bruce forever :)
I know may places have alot of snow but it is really fun here when we get a little! I caught this look the cardinal gave the mourning dove, kinda of funny! It is not to clear because I shot it through a window!
I felt it today... for the first time in a while. The thrill of making pictures. The wind was insane, it was raining, waves were crashing - and I was perched precariously on the rocks, getting splashed, watching over my tripod, counting down exposure times... and loving every second of it. I've been digging this piece of driftwood for quite some time (sadly, it's too big to take home) and wondering how to shoot it. So... yeah. I like this.
Happiness equals camera plus driftwood plus ocean plus first big storm of the season. Ahhhhhh.

Downy Woodpecker, Okeeheelee Park, West Palm Beach, FL
It's been a very long time since I have seen one of these woodpeckers. And on this day I saw two as they were following each other around the tree. One was pecking away and getting the grub and then feeding it to the other. Hmm... a pesky youngster following around Mom? I don't know. I've never seen this behavior.

I just wish they would have let me get closer (or I had more glass). The shots are 100% crops almost. And I could have lowered the ISO.

Spring has arrived, and as the Virginia Beach Police Mounted Patrol team prepares for the summer season, they're making sure their horses are ready too! The team's expert farriers are hard at work getting the horses fitted with brand new shoes, while their skilled veterinarians ensure that their vaccines are up-to-date. Beyond their excellent care, the horses also receive extensive exercise and training to prepare them for the summer season.
When the summer season kicks off, you can find the Virginia Beach Mounted Patrol team patrolling the Oceanfront, keeping visitors and residents safe while also interacting with the community. As one of the few departments with an active and robust mounted patrol, the horses play an important role in building bridges and starting conversations that make our city stronger.
These working horses are more than just animals - they're valuable members of our police department and community. With their new kicks and expert care, they're ready to take on whatever the summer season brings.
