After surgery, my GF recieved a couple fo Get-Well boquests, inlcuding one with a flowers arranged to be a dog.

In the home stretch... the last 70 miles through Colorado to Boulder.

This is a shot looking up the trough. I have to get all the way up to the area where the mountains make a V and then around the corner a little before I get out of the trough. This was probably the longest part of the trail. It was steep and long so I found myself resting about every 7 or 8 steps which makes for a long climb up. I was still able to handle it much easier than what I went through to get up to the boulder field. Guess I really needed to eat. If you look closely you can see tiny people scattered up the trough. It kinda gives you an idea of how long it is. The guy and girl ahead of me here are the ones I make friends with on the way up. I never asked them where they were from. I think the guy was from Ft. Collins if I overheard him right. He said he had been to the top before and was taking this teenage girl to the top. They were both really nice.
