We have had a female Blackcap on our nut feeders over the last few days, and she's quite capable of standing her ground against the more normal users! I'm guessing she may be an early summer arrival, rather than an over-wintering bird. The virtual lack of a winter here in Surrey may have brought some migrants in early.
again like last year I have not seen the sheep for about 6 months but there back up at hill top ready for the lambs again and again they still remembered me came running before I even knew it was them
After waiting for 22m, 20x and 36a, train 13v would start it's pull west. Just behind 13v was train 259. Duncannon, Pa. MP 119.1 on the Pittsburgh Line.
Finished her faceup and body blushing :D Now I just need to figure out what kind of hair to give her...
After a 64 hour work week and not much sleep, a glass or two of this will put me down.
All of a sudden, she got a Bachelor in economics.
I believed in her, she did not believe in herself.
Hopefully, she will now understand her capacity.

This is currently my favourite image (mainly due to humour it communicates) from a series of wildlife images I have been capturing in recent years.

These mountain goats are "living" on a poster enticing people to visit Montana. They are reflected on a rear window of a parked car in downtown Seattle. I hope the car will get them back to Montana!
My wife is getting organised for our New Year's Day dinner tomorrow evening ~ that's the dining room table being set!

It was really a cold day, even the boats had to get together to stand against the coldness. I like the wide screen version of this pic, the boats stood in the center which made a good composition. The blue which brought up by the dispersion of light made the pic wierd but more cold.
Recent dots seen at lower levels than usual
On the left on the 2nd of May, Agusta-Westland AW.189 G-MCGO, aka 'Coast Guard 175' tracks low-level along the beach past Shoreham Airport
Intriguingly this one was out of Lee-on-Solent and went North East to the London Suburbs at around 1,750 feet, then followed the River Thames, right through the City towards Excel and then reversed the routing before heading South East towards Eastbourne
Having crossed the town she dropped down to about 150' and rounding Beachy Head - started back West. However when she reached the Birling Gap area she disappeared off ADS-B
Half an hour later, up she popped again, still with the previous track showing and at around 60 knots tracked her way past here and home
The odd thing was that at the same time - a sister machine came out of the Cardiff area - crossed the Bristol Channel and it to tracked towards London, also following the River Thames down to Excel (where the COVID-19 Nightingale Hospital was recently installed) - then turned around and tracked back a reverse of it's previous route
Neither appear on FR24 playback
On the right - seen tonight heading up from Seaford Head just East of Brighton and then via overhead Farnborough and onto home base Brize Norton was this RAF Airbus A400 Atlas C.1 ZM403 as 'Ascot 4589' - here passing through 15,000 feet

"C'mon Dax, tell us about this Nadja, is she cute?" asked Jake,
"With how drunk he probably was, who knows!" laughs J.J.
" A gentleman never tells, boys." replies Dax coolly.
