Géranium sauvage présent partout.
On pourrait dire de lui que c'est le petit, petit, petit frère sauvage du spectaculaire Géranium Madérensis.
Comme "mauvaise herbe", on peut la laisser pousser sans crainte jusqu'à la floraison, en raison de la facilité d'arrachage.
is this the right one?? I once had the original "Spinners" , but I lost it . After several attempts and disillusions, I think this could be the one. It is difficult to reproduce the real dark blue purple colour.
Beetle on a sticky purple geranium (Geranium viscosissimum) on the Blacktail Deer Plateau, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. I'm pretty sure that this is an ornate checkered beetle (Trichodes ornatus). Of course, corrections are welcomed!

Lots of bees in my garden. If all gardeners planted bee friendly flowers like hardy geraniums and stopped using chemicals, we could off set the harm done to bees by chemical dependent farmers
