This plant has been flowering for several months and I couldn't resist another shot at the delicate, small flowers.

I found this cove along the Blue Ridge crest road that had thousands and thousands of blooming wild geraniums. It was spectacular. Unfortunately for photography, the landscape was horrible dapple and the wind was blowing very hard, a perfectly horrible conditions for photography. I concentrated on a single flower in the sun. one of many kinds of geranium in our garden, but to my taste the most beautiful. We call it 'Jos' geranium' , because it always blooms at our son's birthday in early June

Blutroter Storchschnabel im Naturschutzgebiet "Mainzer Sand"

One of about a dozen geranium in my garden, this is the longest blooming. It has a nice way of scrambling about that suits my wild style.
