from Elworthy plant nursery . A seedling from Harmony , with dark green leaves. special flower colour!
A true geranium - not a pelargonium. Lit with a bare SB-26 flash very close, but set at 1/32 or 1/64 power.
Pink geraniums buds & all! I liked the colour blends of the bold pink together with the peachy
backdrop, & the greens tying it all together, hope you do too =) (Best on black)
Location: Bangalore, India
Looked around and this looks like a Zonal Geranium or a Garden Geranium (Pelargonium hortorum)
Flowers of India: Zonal geranium is suitable for beds, edging, borders, containers, window boxes, and as a house plant. These plants have succulent leaves and stems and may grow into small shrubs up to 3 feet high over time. The distinctive leaves in most varieties are circular, 2 to 3 inches in diameter and may be disctinctively marked or banded. Geraniums boast spectacular displays of 4 to 5 inch diameter flower clusters composed of small florets arranged in a half sphere. Flower color ranges from white through pink to magenta. There are scarlets and lavenders I particularly like the salmon and orange varieties. Often the leaves are tinted to match the color of the flower, in other cases leaf color complements the blossom.
