Robertiella robertiana) commonly known as Herb Robert, Red Robin, Death come quickly..In traditional herbalism, Herb Robert is used as a remedy for toothache and nosebleeds. An infusion made from the whole plant, minus the root, has been used for its diuretic and tonic effect and as a remedy for dysentery. It is also used on wounds for healing and to prevent scarring, having both an antiseptic and a styptic effect.

This is the first photo captured with my NEW Olympus Stylus Tough 8000 point-and-shoot camera.

Government House was one of the buildings featured on the 47th annual Garden Club of St. Augustine home tour in 2015. Christmas floral arrangements were provided by the Geranium Garden Circle.

Located on the west end of the main plaza in St. Augustine, Government House is the latest of the governmental buildings to occupy this site since 1598. In the 1930's the building was renovated in a WPA project as a US Post Office and Customs House. The post office relocated in 1966 and the building was transferred to the state of Florida. The University of Florida now manages the building and uses it as a museum and community education facility.

Probably one of our most common wildflowers, but pretty all the same.

I'm always fascinated by the details one can see in a macro image that often times is just plain overlooked!
