My mom and I stopped by Georgetown on our way back to Florida. I fell in love with this little place! I didn't have much time to explore but I will have to go back and stay a couple days. Such a beautiful little town.

Georgetown Loop Railroad GE 47 ton number 15 at Silver Plume, Colorado on an unknown day in August 1984, Kodachrome by Edward M. DeRouin, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 15 was built by GE in October 1947 ( c/n 27538 ) for the Oahu Railway & Land Co. ( Hawaii ). It appears that it has moved on to the Colorado Railroad Museum since this photo date.
