This eagle was rescued from an island in Shasta Lake, north of Redding, California on July 4th, 2014. He was nicknamed George Washington at the vet's office. He had a dislocated elbow which didn't heal properly, as can be seen in this trail camera photo from Oct. 2014. George loved his fish, which Darrah Springs State Fish Hatchery near Manton kept him supplied with. He also loved his early morning sunbath as the sun came though the high window in his aviary. Sadly, he had to be euthanized because the elbow was getting worse. The vets at UC Davis could not do any surgery that would have helped him; he would have been in constant pain.
at a distance. As with all my photos, I welcome your feedback, criticism and suggestions on improvements.
George is glad to be back at the apartment. His playpen is in the main room so he is with me almost all the time. I think he likes this much better :)

This is from last May. This flamingo has an injured wing and spent the whole summer at alone at Oroklini marshes. During autumn another flamingo joined it, probably its female mate. A few weeks ago both seem to have left the marsh. It is possible that George managed to take flight and probably both joined the large colony of flamingos at Larnaca salt lake.

This may be the Student of the Year. Tim George in his P-1800 Volvo, pulling all his stuff to the 2006 Drivers' School, campaigning it successfully, and then driving it home. Very cool.
My new lavender robe, George I got him from Bath and Body Works. It's definitely the softest robe ever, so I always want to hug it and squeeze it and call it George. I also got the matching socks in lavender and red.
COCHRANE, George, Esq. Wanderings in Greece, I. cilt, Londra, Henry Colburn, 1837.
İngiliz asıllı George Cochrane, Yunanistan'a 1827 yılı Ocak ayında gelir. Britanya donanmasının iki buharlı vapuru Yunanistan bağımsızlık mücadelesi sırasındaYunan donanmasına destek vermek üzere amiral Thomas Cochrane Lord of Dundonald'ın emrinde Yunanistan'a gelir.
