This photo is part of the “Urban Geometries”, a series of pictures that I made dedicated to my city Lisbon. We spend most of our daily hours rushing from one place to the other and we often lose the capacity of admire the environment surround us. yes, there's a matching error on the top hexagonal figure (the decagon should be rotated ~36 degrees), but these can be made into the basic elements that form the basis for much of the tilework in islamic architecture. my mathematical background and ester's work and background are meeting up nicely.

Continuing on the theme of looking at the body and face from different angles.
Final processing was using 25% yellow filters to add skin tones, then adding a copy of the original layer in multiply mode. Had to tone down the final color using saturation adjustment.
Artistic goal: a different view of interesting angles and curves of the body.
Should've paid attention in geometry class…

Silver Geometry Project print #5
The paper was painted with salt water only inside the marked shapes. The grey-purple is silver nitrate, the brown is potassium dichromate.
The silver applied to the circle did not apply evenly, and became a white, gooey mass. Due to the blotching, the variation shadows did not appear well.

Printed on unsalted paper. The brown is potassium dichromate, while the blue is cyanotype working solution.
Unfortunately, there is no value variation in this image because all the chemicals reached d-max so quickly that any shadows were obliterated when the photogram objects were moved.
