Few miles away from Ouarzazate lies Aït Benhaddou. The place was the location of many movies, such as Prince of Persia, Gladiator, Anthony and Cleopatra, The Mummy. The list is long.
As any place that shows such attractiveness, is full of people interested in being there.
It was a cold December day, with the sun just clearing the skies. When I was leaving, the busses start parking at the base of the hill.
Concentric rings of breaded calamari, resting on a grid for drying, which is atop a woven placemat, waiting to be lightly fried and then eaten along with a glass of wine(also circular, but always taken, in moderation, so that one's head does not start spinning in a circular pattern) and some baguette (linear). It was all so good, that there was no time for an alternative shot for the challenge. You will just have to believe me.
From my 'Playing with Geometry' solo show in September 2011, these prints are very limited edition, and won't be reprinted in the future.
These are three color letterpress prints, hand drawn by me, and lovingly hand fed, one by one, into a Chandler and Price press.
There are two options:
- print only: you will receive an 8 x 10 print mailed flat. ($25)
- print mounted on Plywerk base: you will receive an 8 x 10 print mounted on a Plywerk base (locally made here in Portland), with appropriate hanging orientation. ($40)

I spent all week looking for an item to shoot for the theme, but these darn blocks kept coming back in my mind every time I thought of it. I promise I will put more effort into this next week! Week of He-double hockey sticks at work!

I have never seen a so good geometry.. It's so difficult to not touch or moving this little tables... All of this aren't glue on ground!!!

Although front, side and plan view are correct, the 3D geometry of abutments is still not completely accurate due to the lack of information. Here you can appreciate a segmented cone intersecting with the smooth and curved surface of the connection between north and south portal.
