Geometric shapes in the city walk.

I was on my way home and came across this town house where it has four perfectly symmetrical shaped windows and an electrical wiring cable (with birds sitting on it) hanging high above on the front porch of the property.

Night walk around Louvre Museum. This place is able to give different feelings every hour... the night is my favorite one! Unfortunately I didn't have a tripod with me (as usual....) so I shot by hand this picture... fortunately, I was bringing with me the 50 f/1.2 so, was not so difficult to have a decent picture :-)

how many triangles can you see?

Some fun geometry I discovered with the minifig baseplates. Thank goodness I have around 8 million of them. Don't know how useful this is, I was just messing around.

We are happy that two of our typefaces, Adelle and Bree, appear in Stephen Coles recent book "Geometry of Type". A book about the anatomy of 100 essential typefaces.

This one is my BFF's favorite. One of the shredded papers fell into her right eye, and it made it look so pretty :D

This page is from a book on the geometry of Islamic Designs, plus several geometry in nature and design are what I have for bedside cruising lately. Will this connect to my fiber arts?

Today's geometry page is on the right: three methods of drawing a perpendicular line. I think I was overly ambitious to put three problems on the same page — but it looks harmonious both up close and far away. I do wish I could find a way to trace in my guidelines neatly, and erase them just as cleanly; but I've not yet found he right combination of technique and tool to do so.

The Bhadohi district located at 45 Km from Varanasi (Benaras) is the biggest carpet manufacturing centre in India.

Well known carpets from Bhadohi cover all kind of ranges from mass market to the highest qualities, they are manufactured in various styles and designs.

This is a close-up shot in the factory of my Indian family where I always enjoy to take pictures.

Silver Geometry Project print #22

Printed on paper salted with potassium chloride. The yellows are potassium dichromate, and the blue-greens are cyanotype chemistry.

This image was taken after several hours of further exposure, attempting to increase contrast.
