A vibrant arrangement of white lilies is displayed in a green vase, set against a textured blue background with splattered details. The composition combines geometric shapes and organic forms, creating a striking visual contrast.
In Toulouse airport's connecting tunnel, I focused on how the curved glass and lighting create an almost sci-fi atmosphere. The repeated forms and aqua-tinted glass transform this functional passage into a futuristic transportation capsule.

An old railway gate along the disused GNR line from Dundalk to Greenore.
The last train ran in 1957 and now there is talk about creating a greenway along the route of the old line.
Today's prompt is to practice getting the blur you want without missing focus on the important parts of your image by taking a portrait.
I do wish the background was a little blurrier but it's only because Buster was so close to the wall already. I ended up moving him away a little further to get a little more of a blur. I focused on the bridge of his nose in attempts to get both eyes nice and crisp.
I also wish the light wasn't so harsh from above causing shadows on his eyes, but I didn't have any other light source to direct on his face.
Overall, I'm quite content with this shot!

Macro Mondays: "Geometric Shapes" theme
This is a photograph of a small, colorful design plaything called "The Color Game" by Ted Naos. It is made up of a number of die-cut color panels held in a plastic case. You can manipulate the order of the colorful panels to make amazing patterns and color harmonies. This one is filled with squares, crosses and rectangles. I have another that is made of star shapes. Both are fascinating to play with.
(BTW, I added the border in Photoshop.)

The white is sky, the black is Toronto City Hall and the flame is held in the hand of a street performer. The white at the bottom is the roof of a stall, I think. I took this at the holiday fair when the performer was standing in a place where I could get the grey sky and the city hall contrasted like this. I took it at an angle, because the flame was not held straight up, so the sky and the buildings ended up at a bit of an angle, as you can see. I left it as is. I was amazed that the contrast ended up like this, I wasn't expecting it to be this clean. I enhanced the contrast and changed it to B/W in MacBook Air's own photo editing program. I cropped it a bit as well. FYI, I don't use LR or PS.

For Macro Mondays / Geometric Shapes..
The title implies that this is something good to eat, but it's a shot of a manhole cover. Never realized how interesting a manhole cover could be.
I could've maybe used this one for the April Fool's Day Challenge. HMM!
The Toorji Ka Jhalra was constructed in the 1740s by the queen-consort of Maharaja Abhay Singh, and features detailed sandstone carvings. It is noteworthy that the Jodhpur Stepwell had been buried for years and only recently underwent a restoration to return it to its former glory. The primary function of the structure was to provide a reliable water source during the dry seasons. It also served as a communal gathering point and still does.
