This is a geode in the small mineral collection at Belmont Audubon Habitat. I made a focus stack of it two weeks ago, but the dust was excessive. I cleaned it today and tried again, with 140 frames. I used Helicon Focus to blend them together.
A quick little tablescrap utilising some bootleg transparent-smoke sockets that turned up amongst one of my second-hand hauls.

"We over the years of plundering our oppressors, have amassed countless crowns from tyrannical kings. We have guarded priceless jewels and powerful artifacts worn by warriors of old. And today we pay another visit to the wealth of our history. The forestmen... will rise again from the heart of the Faerie Forest, and the soul of Avalonia. Long have we stayed hidden, it is time we showed our strength."
This is a close up of the giant geode, and the forest rangers ready to deposit their plunder!
