Not all subject matter is fast, exciting or even moves. On this assignment we had to capture advertising images for a new generator for Yamaha. I made a matching, vented enclosure for my little Honda EU2000i generator.
This generator is very quiet and is even more quiet inside an enclosure. I also bolted this enclosure to the playa, using the same method as I used for the main enclosure.
The enclosure was located 50 ft from the project and connected by a buried extension cord. That was far enough to make power to the project completely silent.
I programmed a timer to give the project a 5-minute rest every hour, to allow it to cool off, and to shut off power to the project at sunrise every day.
