5823 Noise Generator synthesizer module. 5823 is a fascinating cold-cathode gas filled triode that glows UV. The project stemmed from the fascination with the tube itself. Even more exciting was finding a stash of Telefunken 5823 tubes!

Some of the Hoover Dam's generators. Each year the dam produces an average of 4.2 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity for use in Arizona, Nevada and California (including Los Angeles.) By 1987 the sale of this electricity had paid for all construction and maintenance costs. (The dam cost $49 million in 1936 dollars - more than $800 million adjusted for inflation.)

The most amazing thing is how clean this place is.

Somehow I think I bent time and space to create a wedge plate ring with 12 pairs, instead of 13....It stresses the plates a bit, but nothing I'm to worried about, because there isn't any more stress then on a few other things I have built.

I have been fooling around with a fractal generator called ChaosPro 4.0. It is a free download program that can be found at: www.chaospro.de/

And I have no idea what I am doing other then entering random numbers if the formulas but I don't know how to control the outcome, I just enter the numbers and see what happens

Seagulls are notorious for snatching French fries from unsuspecting people. But why do they do it? Is it because they are hungry, curious, or just plain rude? The answer is a little bit of all three. Seagulls have a very varied diet and will eat almost anything they can find, including fish, insects, garbage, and yes, French fries. They are also very intelligent and adaptable birds and have learned to associate people with food sources. They know that where there are people, there are likely to be snacks. And they are not afraid to take what they want, even if it means stealing from someone else's plate. Seagulls have a strong sense of hierarchy and competition among themselves, and will often try to outsmart or intimidate their rivals for food. They also seem to enjoy the thrill of the chase and the challenge of getting away with their crimes. Some gulls may even steal French fries for fun, to play with their mates, or to show off their skills. So the next time you see a seagull eyeing your French fries, be careful. It could be hungry, curious, or just looking for a good time.

Photo of an old generator or compressor I saw when diving down the street. Shot this from drivers seat of my car just thought it looked cool with all the rust and the yellow color. I don;t know why but seem to be shooting alot of shots of old construction machines lately. Just think they make cool HDRs.

This was built in the 1950s and still controls the heating and air conditioning in the bunker. It was noisey and smelly.
