The transfer switch in on the right side. I put the plug in the switch for now. If I use it enough I will buy some romex and put an outside plug in but I can run the cord down to the basement for now.

Monday 19th April 2010, The flywheel fan on the back of the genny is now firmly attached to the crankshaft flange on the back of the engine, the air gap around the outside of the fan was checked and found to be OK.

Here is what I did to it:
more pics of 1 of 2 brackets I fabbed up for a guy who knocked off the previous OEM brackets out from under the generator of his motorhome because he takes the thing 4x4'ing to get to the really awesome fishing spots.. I put two of these on there, with 3/8"x 6" skids, I was able to lift the side of the motorhome with em, so I think they'll work, May, 2011
