Diesel Generator is a very small MOC, and it was a huge challenge for me, because of the several details and techniques used.
I think I managed to get a very satisfactory result.
I used some uncommon parts wich gave some life to the final result
Nick refills the generator with “mogas” aka gasoline. We use tarps and special absorbers when filling things with fuel to minimize drips and spills in antarctica (a treaty violation). The black “stain” on the snow was due to an incorrectly configured generator for an hour (we left the choke on). It no longer pollutes nearly as much.
It's dead. The photo is a little grainy (noise) because it was getting dark, had no tripod with me so I pushed the ISO (ASA) to 400.
There was a huge space fenced off around the generator. I initially thought this was health and safely gone mad, but a talk with a local revealed this was the cricket pitch. It would not have been very good if 5000 people had trampled all over it.

I visited the airshow exhibition with my military buddy, Shah, and his 2 friends. Shown in this set are photos of the F16 Fighting Falcon, the Apache helicopter, the F15, C-130 Aircraft, and the Rebel 300.

This is the schematic for a White Noise Generator that uses the lm324 quad op-amp.
I breadboarded it up and it worked!!!
A Burrell Showman's Engine.
It pulled the trailers carrying the Ride, then generated the electricity to power the Ride and the lighting.
It is doubtful that the engines were lit up like that when working. The big Rides drank electricity when starting and it would not be wasted like that.
Output was 110 volts DC and up to 200 amps, with exciter.
We took the short tour (it was longer before 9/11). A guide led us to an elevator that took us 500 feet down into the canyon wall. Then we walked down a long tunnel drilled out of rock and saw these huge hydroelectric generators in this 650-foot long room on the Nevada side of the dam. (The Arizona side has something similar.) The generators are turned by the force of river water running through huge pipes near the base of the dam. At that point, the dam is 660 feet (201 m) thick.
Recently, the Braun Brothers, Kelvin and Howard, local farmers, erected this electric generating windmill. It's the only one in our area, that I know of.

The Electricity Museum (in Portuguese Museu da Electricidade) is a cultural centre that presents the evolution of Energy with a Museum of Science and Industrial Archaeology concept, where themed and experimental exhibits live side by side with a great variety of cultural events. Located in the Belém area on terrain Lisbon usurped from the Tagus River (Tejo in Portuguese) at the end of the 19th century, in one of the city’s areas with the greatest concentration of historical monuments where one can find, among others, the Jerónimos Monastery, the Belém Cultural Centre, the Tower of Belém, the Padrão dos Descobrimentos, the Portuguese Presidential Palace and Museum, the Coach Museum or the Cordoaria Nacional (national rope factory). A building classified as a Public Interest Project, the Electricity Museum unfolds along the perimeter of the old thermoelectric plant – the Tejo Power Station, which illuminated the city of Lisbon for more than four decades.
