The Electricity Museum (in Portuguese Museu da Electricidade) is a cultural centre that presents the evolution of Energy with a Museum of Science and Industrial Archaeology concept, where themed and experimental exhibits live side by side with a great variety of cultural events. Located in the Belém area on terrain Lisbon usurped from the Tagus River (Tejo in Portuguese) at the end of the 19th century, in one of the city’s areas with the greatest concentration of historical monuments where one can find, among others, the Jerónimos Monastery, the Belém Cultural Centre, the Tower of Belém, the Padrão dos Descobrimentos, the Portuguese Presidential Palace and Museum, the Coach Museum or the Cordoaria Nacional (national rope factory). A building classified as a Public Interest Project, the Electricity Museum unfolds along the perimeter of the old thermoelectric plant – the Tejo Power Station, which illuminated the city of Lisbon for more than four decades.

A BNC plug on a length of stiff Co-Axial cable that I soldered into the back of a Jack plug. Most suitable for signal injection of acquisition!

Here's the stepper motor / generator sitting all nice and neat in it's housing.
The next step is to fill the gap around the motor with hot-melt to both secure the motor and also to act as a water seal. You can also see the pivot provided by the mounting bracket.

Here we have a better view of the generator car as it comes into Coombe Junction Halt. Officially lettered as a Service Coachette it is a very useful facility for the charter organisers.
These are on the Nevada side, and there are about as many others on the Arizona side behind the wall at the back.
The new mounting bracket for the A/C compressor was used to mount the generator above the right valve cover. This bracket was cut and extended forward 1 & 7/8 inch to line up the belt with the front grove of the water pump pulley.
Russ also built a brace to bolt to the front head bolt and pick up the rear mount of the generator.
The upper and lower double pullys were from a power steering equipped Buick and if this car had power steering another pully could be added.

In Korea 1951 I was in the1st Caverlry division H& S Company 120 combat engineers for awhile and was transferred to Oklahoma 45 National Guard Division when the First Cav rotated back to the states because I didn't have enough time in. I was a draftee. We maintained all kinds of equipment including generators for higher echelons .
