The prequel trilogy has plenty wrong with it, but it did bring us a few awesome villians. Here we've got Grievous attempting to escape Obi-Wan in his wheelbike.

The General Cemetery in Spring Bank West the Western Cemetery now belongs to Kingston upon Hull City Council for its upkeep. The Council is also responsible for the General Cemetery but as you will see later it is very badly kept yet still visited by families to leave flowers.
My photos of General Cemetery will follow over the next few days.
The General Cemetery was opened in 1847. The cemetery was closed in 1972, and went into the hands of the Council. Some maintenance work has been undertaken more recently. But I could not see any on my visit on March 1st 2019. In monochrome

Hull General Cemetery and one of the litter bins supplied by the volunteers who keep the Cemetery tidy and clean! You would be very surprised what people throw away! The Cemetery can be found on Spring Bank West! In monochrome!
Shot a test roll with a questionable automatic point and shoot camera I found in my closet, a Konica MG. Has a decent 35mm f3.5 lens but likes to close focus at random - at least I didn't appear to have a way of controlling what it focused on. It also likes to vignette at wider apertures, but I think it works sometimes.
I wrote a little photo blog about taking it around town and shooting a roll of Kodak Gold:
Manufacturer: General Dynamics (Now Lockheed Martin)
Operator: USAD 412th Test Wing , Edwards AF Base
Type: X-62 VISTA ("Variable Stability In-flight Simulator Test Aircraft"). Originally designated NF-16D and X-62 as part of an upgrade to Skyborg, with SAC (System for Autonomous Control of simulation).
Event/ Location: Aerospace Valley Airshow/ Edwards AF Base
Comments: X-62 VISTA is an experimental aircraft, derived from the F-16 Fighting Falcon, which was modified as a joint venture between General Dynamics and Calspan for use by the United States Air Force (USAF). X-62A remains on the curriculum of the Air Force Test Pilot School as a practice aircraft for test pilots.

General car carrier in Calgary about 1990. This truck appears again in my photostream a few rows down. It was partially repainted orange and hauling Jeeps.
An old hangout in Englewood, Co. Not much was left of the General Iron Works after RTD built the new light rail maintenance facility next door. This crane, an old oven, and some ruins were all that remained. This area was my go to for testing out new cameras back in the day. Taken winter of 2010.
Cute little general store that has vintage charm. I worked on it a bit with a couple of processes . Hope you like the results.
Have a terrific Tuesday.

I posted a close up of this siding but I thought that I would throw in this wider shot. I had to when the title dawned on me. In my defense, this siding really has some whiskers... but side burns? Maybe not! Talk about undried and unseasoned lumber, there was plenty of pitch in the pine trees they hacked into barn lumber. I bet there were few dead ponderosas sawn for this siding.
The hardware series ended when I saw the natural and weathered siding on old sheds. This siding is on the old unpainted McIntosh dairy barn. This may not have been finished lumber but rather straight from the buzz saw and dripping wet. I would not count on this being so much as stable dried lumber. Old Mac probably got squirted when he drove the nails. Stable dried lumber that has been dried to average humidity stands a far better chance of lasting for a much longer time when exposed to the elements while unsealed.
The Ag Museum is now open for summer weekends, including Fridays. The passing storm may sift snow on MAC for tomorrow. Last Friday, I passed through on a leisurely stroll down to Mac Lake, met an interesting mountain main with whiskers and a dandy bench west along the lake. I loaded up with autumn captures this year in general and accessed the only snow Saturday this winter. As always, it's a great spot for exercise and access to Mac Lake. There is always something more at McIntosh but I won't search today. I apparently can't find everything in a single pass. I like the natural patina of the rusting tones as they were. There is great diversity in those tones.
This is the McIntosh-Lohr Farm Agricultural Museum on Highway #66, (not the same as Route #66) It goes up to Estes Park and end mostly east at Flatteville. I dropped everything else because the clouding has been absent recently, Friday and today, they really popped the structures. The unpainted barn was the McIntosh barn and the red one the Dickens barn moved in from the FAA property. I'm related some how or another to the Dickens crowd. Old Jack, I remember he had trouble remembering to put the gear down BEFORE he landed his plane. I scored shots out here some years ago but the sky was a dud and I was using my old D70. I am gathering all together into my Photo Set album.
The front of Go-Ahead London Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini WVL3 (LG02KGV), now sadly sitting in Stockwell Garage being robbed of parts before going for scrap. Its career was ended when it collided with Abellio's 2510 (YY64TZK) in Streatham on January 4th 2017 whilst on route 249, and since the 333 was lost at the end of January, it was pointless to repair it, so it is now being cannibalised before going for the scrapheap. The damage at the accident though only occurred to where the glass is cracked on the front right hand side, the rest of the front has been cannibalised.
