UP 9047 leads empty acid cars on the return trip back to Utah. The acid train originates at Kennecot Copper in Garfield, Utah and runs loaded cars to the EPCO Agri Chemical plant near Conda, Idaho. Here, the train is seen rolling west along the UP Pocatello Subdivision between Bancroft and Pebble in Gem Valley.

I got the chance to take some photos of wonderful clothes.
I had to take a photo of the wonderful face.
I pretty sure there is a wonderful soul behind it too.

⦁ He stood in the middle of their home, looking around with a quiet smile. The living room was slowly coming together as they continued to redo and transform it into a place that felt more like them. Every little detail carried a piece of their family’s journey.
⦁ Their baby daughter seemed to love the changes the most. She now had her own special area, a little corner made just for her where she could play, explore, and grow surrounded by love. Seeing her happy made every bit of work worth it.
⦁ But his favorite part of the transformation was the new TV wall. The warmth of the wooden panels mixed perfectly with the modern design of the Kane TV stand, creating a space that felt peaceful, stylish, and welcoming. It was more than just a place to watch television; it became a place where they would make memories together.
⦁ As he looked at his family enjoying their new space, he felt grateful. Their home was not just being redesigned with new furniture and decorations it was being filled with love, laughter, and the beautiful moments of building a life together.

Seeing as I'm about to move from my home of more than 36 years in West Sussex I thought over the next few days I'll post some pictures from the hills and fields and woodland behind my home and I'll start with May as that was such a glorious and magical time with nature and the weather in that month.
I will dearly miss these views and walks, more-so as moving into the heart of the Bournemouth area I've got to travel a bit to find such views. But I will relish the challenge!
#6215 - 2025 Day 5/365: Strange contrasts at the new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) in Giza. When fully opened it will be one of the biggest museums anywhere and is dedicated entirely to ancient Egyptian history. As an experience I would say it is not quite on par with the Egyptian Civilisation museum in Cairo, where the Royal Mummies are. But a must do, for sure.

Elle n'est pas en très bon état, dommage !
Je n'avais pas remarqué à l'époque son côte science fiction fort bien trouvé pour illustrer l'école

It dates from when my son Tom was studying at GEM about ten years ago.
It is not in very good condition, too bad!
I had not noticed at the time its science fiction side very well found to illustrate the school

Qulaan - Wadi el Gemal Nature Reserve

“Qulaan” Nature at its purest form. A Nature reserve place in Wadi El Gemal, Where you can relax and enjoy the naturally grown mangrove tree and birds soaring above you.
These are namely mangrove trees! They are special kinds of trees that grow in saline coastal sediment habitats in the tropics and subtropics. Mangrove plants require a number of physiological adaptations to overcome the problems of high salinity.
Fewer than one hundred species of mangrove trees have been identified in the world out of which only two are found in Egypt.
Their roots spread widely around like threads and they produce spikes that enable them to exchange oxygen and breathe when the tide is out.

De N70 trail route loopt over 8 'bergen' door de glooiende bossen van Berg en Dal en omgeving. Onderweg biedt het heuvelachtige landschap prachtige vergezichten over de polders, uiterwaarden en het rivierenlandschap van rivier de Waal en de Rijn. Ook het cultuurhistorische karakter van de N70 natuurwandelroute is uniek. Het ontstaan van de N70 route gaat terug naar 1970; het natuurbeschermingsjaar. Sinds die tijd is de N70 een zeer populaire wandelroute onder natuurliefhebbers, wandelaars en hardlopers.
De totale N70 route is 14,2 kilometer lang en telt zo'n 375 hoogtemeters. Door het sportieve gehalte is de N70 wandelroute uitgegroeid tot een veelgebruikt oefenparcours voor hardlopers, trail lopers en lange afstand wandelaars. De route telt zo’n 500 traptreden!
⦁ The morning greeted them with perfect weather warm sunshine, a soft breeze, and the peaceful sound of waves rolling behind the house. Their oldest daughter was already at school, leaving the house unusually quiet except for the baby’s tiny giggles echoing through the rooms.
⦁ He stayed home with the little one that day, knowing she preferred the comfort of home over busy crowds and loud places. So instead of going anywhere, he decided to bring the fun right to their own backyard beach. He carried out the floaties and set them carefully by the water. ⦁ The moment she saw them, her face lit up with excitement. He climbed onto his floaty dramatically, pretending to lose balance just to make her laugh. Around his daughters, he never cared about acting his age. He was the silly dad the one who made funny noises, splashed too much water, and turned simple afternoons into little adventures.
⦁ To him, every second with them mattered. If that meant letting the child inside him come back out, then so be it. After all, what was so wrong with having a goofy dad? Better to be the one making memories and laughter than some serious, grumpy father who forgot how to have fun.
⦁ And honestly, judging by the baby’s nonstop laughter floating across the beach that morning, he knew he was doing just fine.
