I went for a short walk around the community this afternoon. I took a few photos along the way. This is one of them.

Since moving to the desert in 2006 I've been intrigued by gated communities. I often wonder if they are to keep bad out or us in. LOL
Encircling the entire island is a Scenic Nature Path that's great for walking, jogging, biking, and just looking out upon waterfowl & Bay vistas.

This is me playing catch up being that I missed a couple days after the photo shoot. I might post another tonight, but I'm expecting a busy day. I do have plans to shoot an idea I thought of the other night so hopefully I can get that in and post it.
When I was younger I always thought about the wife, the kids, the dog and the house in a gated community. That's really all I thought about when I would see celebrities on television. I thought they all had that. Shit, was I wrong! They live pretty close to us nowadays.
I went with the long exposure on this shot. They were taking pictures so I didn't have to worry about them moving much. There is a bit of motion but I think it still came out alright. You notice it more in Black
