These old iron gates, made by Rice & Co., Northampton, around 1885, are in the grounds of St.Michaels and All Angels church, Northampton.

A tall, ornate stone archway stands as a formal entrance to a sprawling estate. Wrought iron fencing extends from the heavy masonry pillars, separating the paved path from the rolling green hills beyond. The structure features classical architectural details, including a decorative finial atop the arch and sturdy stone blocks forming the gateposts.
Notting Hill Gate, Lit up, shiny and bright. Central line curves its way in, 22nd April 2011.

One of eight wrought-iron gates around the Monolith, the centerpiece of Oslo's Frogner Park. The theme of the gates is the Ages of Man. The monolith was carved from a single block of granite by Gustav Vigeland. It comprises 121 intertwined nude figures, all climbing toward the sky -- or aspiring to Heaven.
Got chased by a guard in his car after taking this. He pretended he was going to run me down. I mocked him severely.

Many don’t know this little fact. I had to learn it the hard way as well. It’s not that easy to take a long exposure shot of Golden Gate from Baker Beach. But why? Well, this place unfortunately is a nudist beach.
These gates are the main entrance from Downtown Bloomington to Indiana University and are part of the impressive campus "crescent." I was fortunate enough to catch a nice sunset through the gates the night I took this.
One of many gates hidden inside a castle named Hukvaldy. I was there many times, but I never saw this scenery. I don't know why, because I was there (at this exacly place), but I didn't notice about that view :)
It looks great from that perspective.

New machinima in the works! I'm just starting with set building and some basic filming. End to end will take, probably, a month or so. The Gates Center for Computer Science is one of the newest buildings at Carnegie Mellon and contrasts with the campus's more traditional structures, although the hillside location allows it to fit better with its surroundings than one might expect. Carnegie Mellon has one of the most attractive urban campuses I have seen.
