The Last Gasp
Special, a regular visitor to the Kwara concession in Botswana, had just taken down this reedbuck after an incredibly prolonged stalk. We watched him squeeze the last gasps of breath out of his victim before he sat under a bush for the next hour recovering. Once he regained his strength he dragged the corpse out of view.
I forgot to post last weeks outtake.
Doesn't she look like she was just caught in the shower! Oh noes! Would have used this one but I didn't care for the colors and a failed at trying to fix them... ;-)

Boom! The Inn door opens with a stream of swearing heard from the inside and outside where in the doorway two decisive silhouettes are shown.
"Who?! Hey, give him to us, immediately! " - rawrs demandingly one of them, swinging with a long, furry tail, and showing a crystal sword. A feline with yellow, glowing eyes, wearing a heavy cape and holey scaly armor steps inside the Inn, spreading long whiskers, and grinning.
"You all should better do what we want..." - the winged other gently advices, sighing, and adjusts a glaive laying on one armoured shoulder. It's a dragoness, whose scaly body seems similar to lava, shimmering and hot.
A small dragon snorts, watching the room from her head. Everyone in the Inn gasps when the feline visitor leaps towards stairs on the top floor, where someone's shadow flickers...

Yes, there's still dust on the floor. I'll look for rugs for the big area and use a dust mop on the smaller areas. We still have sawdust blowing in from the outside landing.
This used to be old turquoise carpeting which when pulled up was filthy. I can see the dirt, the paw prints, the hair from the non shedding dogs now.

The noise made by the crowd as the dolphins fished for salmon. My first time photographing dolphins, was punctuated by my Mum gasping when I didn't have a dolphin in my sights! Will whinge just this once about ParcelForce 'losing' my 100-400 lens and finding it too late for it to be returned to me before going up to Inverness on a wee holiday, so quality not the best, but the experience was still wonderful.
There IS a monster in JR lake - he emerged from the water and I got a quick photo before he disappeared again!!!
He's extremely frightening! Aieeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!
