Took this in abandoned train station in wolves. Bought gasmask along while takin urban destruction photos and got some good shots of wicked mate roofio. They are pretty samey, not supposed to be a series....taken with Canon A1, 3200 black and white ilford film. This poem sort of goes with it:

I hold my soul in the palm of my hand

god gave it to me in a dream

with no fingers to hold it

and no eyes to see

when it would drop

then shall I pray for humanity

The second photo in my impromtive mask shoot. Was fun to shoot until i realized there were still CS crystals on the mask from the last time i went to the gas chamber.

Strobist info: camera on tripod with remote trigger. One 580EXII hand held with white trashbag as a diffuser held above. Just played with the flash until i got it where i wanted it

You may feel a slight sting.

This is an old shot. Her mom is a really good photographer here in Richmond and this was essentially a grab. She wanted to wear the mask that I really wanted to see on her brother. Meh.

The first of some photos taken while wandering about town today with some friends, with, yeah, some props with which we did the fine work of alarming the locals. I'm putting this one up first because a) I really like it, and b) it seems like quite a fitting tribute.
