Macro Mondays and the theme of "Triangle".
For this theme I figured that a Toblerone would be a popular choice and after a bit of further consideration I opted for the end of our gas cover key which does have a triangular shaped connector.
I decided to try a little light painting with my Maglite torch and this proved to be tricky as at first I was trying to draw an outline around the key but in the end I decided to paint streaks in the background.
I used flash to light the key itself and after loading the key image and 5 streak images into photoshop I stacked them and used the lighten blending mode. Then I added a hue/sat adjustment layer to each streak layer and changed the colour of the streaks.

All of a sudden, it feels as spring has, finally, arrived.
At least I think so, but it seems like the boat owners are of a different opinion.

The cloud looks one continuous thing, but it is not in reality. The left upper part of the cloud in the frame exists far nearer to us than that around the Pleiades.

Almaden, San Jose. The tanker driver told me he was suspicious when he first saw me drawing. He said it's sad that (since 9/11) everyone has changed to be really suspicious of anyone that doesn't fit the norm. I guess sketching at a gas station is not the norm.
