This is now a North Carolina/Western New York-themed barbecue bar, which has fortunately preserved the signs. It may be hard to believe, but these storefronts are only six miles from the state capitol in Raleigh.

had a great time doing this family shoot out in McHenry, Illinois last week...i tried to do something creative for them by having mom and dad in the reflection of the window kissing and the kids and grandkids posed at the side of the house...they loved this shot a lot...
Two days worth of excitement came down to this very moment. When B631 left Indiana I found out it had a Norfolk Southern D9-44CW leading which was enough to garner some excitement from me. I headed out when my app said it left Dossett, which usually gives me enough time to make it south of the river. But the train ending up stoping at Bull Run for an hour, and downtown Knoxville for another thirty minutes. But when the golden sun came out, and B631 came out of the trees, I knew it was worth the wait.

I took this shot while standing inside of a hollow bald cypress tree. This tree is huge and appears to be thriving in spite of the opening in the trunk.

Very big surprise today to see these. Arrived from Southampton. Sorry for the poor shots, but as you can see they were hemmed by a huge lump of cargo on the sunny side. Note the solid tyres and chain drive.
Very tatty paint job. Not restored at all.

LH, Chicago’s only tri-level rooftop venue atop the LondonHouse hotel, has rapidly become one of the city’s most popular venues since opening last year.
The London Guarantee Building or London Guaranty & Accident Building stands on part of the former site of Fort Dearborn. It was designed by Chicago architect Alfred S. Alschuler and completed in 1923 for the London Guarantee & Accident Company.
From the 1960s through the 1980s, the studios of Chicago's popular WLS-AM radio were located on the fifth floor, and for several decades, Paul Harvey performed his daily syndicated radio show from studios on the fourth floor. The building was also famous from the 1950s through the early 1970s for The London House, the Chicago jazz nightclub and steakhouse located on the west side of the building's first floor. It was one of the foremost jazz clubs in the country, once home to Oscar Peterson, Ramsey Lewis,, Dave Brubeck, Marian McPartland, Cannonball Adderley, Erroll Garner, Ahmad Jamal, Nancy Wilson and Bobby Short.
In 2001, the building was acquired by Crain Communications Inc. and was referred to as the Crain Communications Building. Crain Communications and other office tenants occupied the tower until it was sold in 2013 to a Oxford Capital Group, which remodeled the structure into the LondonHouse, a 452-room hotel. Goettsch Partners designed the new 22-story addition on a parcel immediately west of the structure. In 2016, the year the hotel opened, Oxford Capital Group to a sale and lease-back transaction and retained ownership of first and second floor retail space.
