We finished early the other day and I was able to grab a photo on my way home, Looking directly behind me, from where I took this, the weather was stormy and the sky was full of dark clouds. This was before it took over the other half of the park.
CPL used.

I took this sometime last week. I forced myself out after work.
Since I have been playing around with props recently, I went to Gap Lake solely to stage a zombie apocalypse... That is, until I saw this crack in the ice... And then I was all about using it as a leading line haha.
Had a little potter along the beach at Birling Gap ... with the Fisheye, which isn't ideal for wildlife photography :))

The early morning fog had finally decided to burn off. After arriving at the Dick Gap Overlook at 7 a.m. waiting for sunrise, fog had enshrouded the whole area. After waiting for an hour and a half with still no fog lifting we headed out to the Jeep where we decided to offroad to a junction that took you to a wet weather falls called Dick Gap Falls and the Catawba Overlook. The jeep got stuck and it took us about an hour to unstuck it. So we took the Jeep back to the parking lot and then we hiked to Catawba overlook and we arrived just as the fog was lifting. The Catawba overlook not only overlooks Dick Gap but you can also see old mining bridge of The Blue Heron Mining Community. BTW if you decide to hike to Dick Gap Falls be sure there's been plenty of rain.
"Mind the gap" is a warning to train passengers of the gap between the train door and the station platform. It was introduced in 1969 by the London Underground.
This is on the beach at Birling Gap on the east Sussex coastline as the tide went out ! Went with Louize and a very good friend Jan (jankmarshall) also on flickr!
And the end of a fabulous day in Kent. In the morning a very wet Sissinghurst and in the afternoon a very windy Jury's Gap. No choice for the evenings finery, has to be fish-n-chips. So back to the best, Ossie's of Faversham, a large cod and chips, cheap sliced white bread and butter, red sauce, salt-n-vinegar and copious cups of sweet tea, perfection!
Tomorrow, another day, only the morning free so a walk around Oare National Nature Reserve.
