This location opened in November 2020; it was originally a Limited Too, which opened in fall 2000. It became a Justice in 2009, which closed in 2020.
The last game I ran was really jam-packed with action.
Lots of frames destroyed, several station grabs, and they even shot down one of the center towers that had gone unscathed in previous games.
The green team managed to win by rolling an 8 to move in their last action, and running to a free station on the opposite side of the field.
Here's something you don't always see, an outdoor hockey game... on a frozen pond... on Long Island. With the temps in the low teens these adventurous kids got out and played old school hockey.

What I made for a video game themed group show called "Game Over" at Giant Robot SF.
What's it mean?
Well...think about it. Pac-man goes around eating all the food and resources on the game screen. The ghosts are trying to stop him from exploiting every last cherry for his own greedy intentions. It's a lot like the struggle American Indians faced as my people wagon wheeled their way into the wild west. But in this piece of art the natives brought a stop to things.

This dragon demanded my attention while I was desperately searching for a word to topple my husband's long running high score at Scrabble.
Game King: made to look like a Game Boy Advance but it plays like a Nintendo Game & Watch! B&W screen and an 8bit game.
This weekend was AWESOME!!! I had the best weekend I've had in forever it seems like. Don't get me wrong, I've had good, even great weekends, especially with G (heck, I've had some amazing weekends with G), but this weekend was the first weekend I was able to relax without a damn thing entering my mind about the house, my ex, without worrying...and it was AWESOME! And some pretty awesome things happened this weekend too.
Starting with Friday. I got to see one of my best friends from high school on Friday night as she was passing through town. I had not seen her since graduation (12 years ago...wow, it's only been 12 years?! Feels like a lifetime ago). It was so amazing to see her and to get to talk for a while, even though it was a short time since she was traveling. Then on Saturday my really good friend who moved to Italy several years ago called me from Italy!!! I saw the phone and I was like "who is this???..." and it was her! We talked for a long while and it was so great to hear her voice and to be able to catch up. Then Sunday G decided we should go to a baseball game, so we did! And so we get to the photo and here's us! We have a minor league team here and I'd never been. I hadn't been to a game since my parents took me to a minor league game when I was a child and it was a lot of fun! It was overcast most of the time (no worries about sunburn, yay!), so it was a little cool, but overall very comfortable with our coats on. Oh, and I ALSO booked our hotel for my birthday getaway!
Soooo, yeah, awesome weekend. Like I don't want to go to work today awesome cause I need another day! But hey, eye on the prize because after this week, I only work 3 days next week (and 4 days the week after and 4 days the week after that due to my b-day and holidays and all!).
Me = uber happy...!!!
