The Cheshire Game & Angling Fair at Peover Hall, Knutsford provided plenty of opportunities to take a snap or two.
I might get a few sorted but most will have to wait 'til I get back from Buttermere next Weekend.
What I made for a video game themed group show called "Game Over" at Giant Robot SF.
What's it mean?
Well...think about it. Pac-man goes around eating all the food and resources on the game screen. The ghosts are trying to stop him from exploiting every last cherry for his own greedy intentions. It's a lot like the struggle American Indians faced as my people wagon wheeled their way into the wild west. But in this piece of art the natives brought a stop to things.
Game King: made to look like a Game Boy Advance but it plays like a Nintendo Game & Watch! B&W screen and an 8bit game.

One of the exhibits at the Sand Sculpture Festival in Weston-super-Mare. The show was celebrating its 10th anniversary and the exhibits represented the previous decades best work. This one entitled 'Gamer' was made by Daniel Doyle who studied sculpture in Dublin. It depicts a man obsessed with the digital world.
This figure is one of many that were bought by my husband's parents in Japan in the mid 1950s. They were stationed there after the war Korean War. I don't know what these figures are called or what they might be worth. I hope someone call give me some details about them.
I have had this video game set for about ten years now and haven't played it for a long time. As a lot of TV is a complete wasteland right now we hauled it all out and purchased a small TV to play it on. I cannot believe how bad I am at playing this! I forgot all I ever knew This is going to take some practice, and I will just get good at it again and it will be time for all the spring outside work to start. It would probably also help to be 15 years old again :)
