They are charging across the obligatory corn/wheat field. All American Civil War battlefields should have one.
A game of 'Hordes of the Things' using American Civil War armies or, at least, armies based on the myths and legends of the war. The figures are 6mm, from Heroics and Ros and Irregular Miniatures. They are based for 'Fire and Fury', and mounted on white card sabot bases just for this game, which was played out on the 150th anniversary of the start of the war.
This is one of those fortunate accidents. I shot this with my new camera - a Pentacon-Six. I had loaded the film incorrectly, resulting in overlapping frames. This is a common occurance with the Pentacon-Six; its a little bit tempermental when it comes to loading the film.
In any case, the result was this interesting triptych and a diptych that is also loaded to my Week 3 set.
I shot this on my mother-in-law's birthday. That's her in the middle. Birthdays in our family usually involve the birthday-person's choice of dinner followed by an evening of games. We're playing Ticket to Ride here, which is one of Barb's favorites. That's my father-in-law, Chuck, on the left of Barb. I cropped Shawn and his brother out. Sorry guys!
