This is just inside of Gallery 7 in Lockport looking out towards the public area of the building. I have been a member of Gallery 7 for five years now. The adjacent restaurant has a reception room used for parties including weddings. Here we see a newlywed couple waiting around the corner for the deejay to announce them to the waiting crowd.

The central hall of the National Gallery boasts a magnificent high ceiling with a glass dome or skylight, which is considered a prominent architectural element.
Architect William Wilkins designed the National Gallery's main building, including the dome, between 1832 and 1838.
The Barry Rooms, part of the extensions designed by Edward Middleton Barry, feature grand spaces with marble pillars and domed ceilings.
Photographs from 1923 show the dome and Rooms 37 and 40, hung with early Italian paintings, including Raphael's "The Ansidei Madonna".
The glass domes and skylights are a key feature of the National Gallery, contributing to its grand architecture and enhancing the experience for visitors viewing the extensive art collection.

I took a trip to the art gallery - I could have showcased just the painting but I really like the person in the composition.
One of about a dozen galleries located in The Distillery District. I wish I could afford to support some of these artists!
