Constructed in 2010, and mere steps away from the falls itself, our wedding chapel will easily accommodate up to 65 guests comfortably. Built in 1886 for Edward Tracy Hollingworth, a prominent merchant and banker. This two-story Victorian style house with Mansard roof is one of the few surviving examples of late-nineteenth century architecture in Gadsden. The original complex included a detached kitchen, a well, a servant's house and a barn.

In 1914 Dr. and Mrs Charles L. Gunn purchased the property. It remanined in that family until the death of their daughter, Carolyn Gunn Bellenger in 1990., who had bequeathed the house to the city of Gadsden.

Noccalula Falls Park (originally known as the Black Creek Falls) is a 250-acre public park located in Gadsden, Alabama, United States. The main feature of the park is a 90-foot waterfall with a trail winding through Black Creek Gorge at its base past caves, an aboriginal fort, an abandoned dam, pioneer homestead, and Civil War carvings.

This building has been vacant for the last 20-30 years, The First Methodist Church just across the street bought the abandoned and derelict building to tear down and use the space occupied with the building for additional parking.

Built in 1920 and at one time had a 4 story wing to it that was the Baptist Hospital, it was torn down some years ago. The building tower had a Cafeteria on the ground floor and Doctors and Dentist offices on upper floor.

The building was 99.38 ft high and was the 3rd tallest building in Gadsden.

Samuel Henry Kress was born in 1863 in Cherryville, Pa. and died in New York City in 1955 at the age of 92. He never married and was a Mason and avid Art Collector. He opened his first store in Nanticoke, Pa. in 1896. Eventually operating over 200 Five & Ten Cent stores in 29 states.

In 1964 Genesco bought the Kress Stores and by 1980 had closed all of them.

Fortunately many of his stores still survive and most of his stores were Art Deco-style and many of them have been placed on the NRHP.

The Printup Hotel was one of Gadsden's most beautiful early hotels. The hotel is located on the corner of Fourth and Locust Streets in downtown Gadsden. The hotel was managed by Adolph Reich during its years of operation as a hotel. The structure was ravaged by two destructive fires: the first fire in 1910 and another in 1928.

The hotel was built in 1888.

This beautiful structure remains but many alterations have been made and it looks much different today.
