A westbound Falls Road Railroad freight makes a pick up at Middleport, NY on Sept. 21, 1998 with RS-11 No. 1802.
GVT (DL) S6 1044 switches their 3T (truck, train transload) building at Batavia, NY. The S6 was built in 1957 for the South Buffalo Rwy which is not far away from its present home here in Batavia.
The latest addition to the fleet (as of Friday 24/6/16) is this Bova ex Gee Vee Travel. Pictured here at Helsby on Rail Replacement duties.

As we pulled into Batavia, NY for the first time, we were instantly treated to DL&W Alco RS18 shuffling cars near their roundhouse before making a run across town to service one of their many customers.
This neat little short line is only 2.5 miles long, and with over 10 customers and at full capacity on their line, the crew has their work cut out for them.

De GVT-terminal in Tilburg-industrie begint langzaam maar zeker uit zijn voegen te groeien. Naast LTE met de Chengdu-shuttle\s, VTG/Retrack met de Rzepin, PKP-Cargo met diverse containertreinen met Chinese containers en de binnenlandse treinen vanIRP en DB-Cargo vanaf de Maasvlakte, komt nu ook RFO regelmatig met Chinese containers naar de relatief kleine terminal in Tilburg. Zo ook op 7 oktober 2021, toen eerder op de dag PKP-Cargo al een trein had gebracht, kwam aan het eind van de middag ook RFO met een trein met Chinese containers naar de terminal. Gelukkig was het in de loop van de middag flink opgeklaard, want de trein was viol beladen en werd getrokken dor de opvallende 193623 "Sharky". De trein, die vanuit het Duitse Rostock onderweg was, kwam in delate middag vlak bij en daarom werd maar weer eens naar Schalkwijjk gereden. Tijdens het vlekvrij maken van de foto viel pas op dat er ook nog een luchtballon in de foto aanwezig was en zien we de vol beladen trein in al weer erg laagstaand zonnetje aan de fotograaf passeren bij Schalkwijk op weg naar Tilburg-industrie.
Sinds een week rijdt RFO op proef met containertreinen vanuit China naar Tilburg Industrie. Nadat de eerste trein op 11 november in het donker reed, kwam de tweede trein op 18 november in het mooie zonlicht richting Tilburg.
Reden genoeg om in Terschuur een foto te maken van deze trein. Gelukkig ging de kruising met Connexxion Flirt 5039 net goed!

LUCHA82, the WC-135C Constant Phoenix, arrives at the Greenville Majors Airport to have its components stripped by L3Harris. She has finished her days in the USAF, having been in use since 1962. After some time at Majors, it will be flown to AMARG in Tucson, AZ for storage. Note the signatures of Offutt AFB personnel who worked around this aircraft near the cockpit section.
Bringing 12 loads of lumber to Cresco on 10/9/18. The background here was the most blue sky I say in four days in Scranton.
