When the Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism contacted Mind Expressions about the design of their Visitors Guide it was an exciting design challenge. In meeting with the client we found the guide was to be used in many different applications but also needed to highlight many different categories of businesses and areas of the Faribault community. Our solution to these problems was to simplify everything down and make it really easy for people to find the specific information they were looking for. This meant to have little maps on pages that needed to highlight the historic downtown, lakes and main city streets. Also we thought of highlighting the businesses that would be the biggest draw for tourists. We did this by creating special areas that highlighted business types such as restaurants, hotels and Faribault originals. The result was a very simple guide for tourists to follow, and see the highlights of a place with small town pride and big city opportunities.
This woman injured her back, and has since then not been able to do much physical labour. Instead she works as a guide at the Kanch Mahal, Sikandra (India) a harem and later a hunting lodge for Mughal Emperor Jehangir.

My guiding setup arrived during clear sky's but a very bright moon so I havent been able to image anything yet.
Just getting used to setting everything up as well as PHD.
Here is the graph from that first night showing 30 mins of guiding. The RA seems to be pretty flat so I assume my Polar Alignment isn't too bad? The Dec was oscillating quite a bit but it seemed to be levelling off. Balance maybe?
I'm planning to setup tonight and have another go.
This waterfall is next to the rock marking the Lawn Sanctuary, and it is the oldest. It is formed in a certain shape. The image is abstract, yet clear. God gave Pastor Jung Myung Seok the design by saying, “Place flat rocks under falling water so that people will sit and rest there. Erect two large boulders, and set a tiger-skin rock to protrude in the middle.” So Pastor Jung Myung Seok built it just as he was instructed.

Up at 3 AM for a work issue. This is not a good way to start the work week. The storm clouds in this shot seem appropriate as I look at the work week just beginning. While in Yellowstone, we went on a couple of guided hikes. I really like this shot of our ranger as he scans the horizon as storm clouds gather and threaten to open up on us. We ended up not getting wet on our hike, but it certainly looked like it might at any time.
According to our tour guide, Hollywood filmed several movies at the mountain on the left. One is Jurassic Park, if my memory serves me right.
I liked the converging lines on this view...the dull light meant a monchrome conversion was on the cards
