Hey did y'all see that new movie?

Prints: store.kolbisneat.com/

I have all the figures boxed to build another from this series, so I decided to sell my display Mantis.

This is a build a figure, not sold complete and assembled in stores.

On the 'bay...

Thanks to www.flickr.com/photos/penguinjam/ for tagging me for this thingy that seems to be going around. I've already shared a lot of the things I like in my Weekly Recommendations, but I’ll give this a shot. :D

Here are facts about me:

1.To begin things off, I am a Caucasian, British male aged 15

2.My b-day is Nov 6th

3.I'm normally not very open about the stuff I like because I would probably be bullied at school if I was. Being open about it with all you awesome people has really helped boost my self-esteem. Thank you all so much!

4.I am an Atheist, even though I go to a Catholic School and have been baptised. I just don’t believe in such things, and the Bible contradicts itself so much I simply can’t believe that it is ‘the word of God’. However, with that said, I do respect others opinions and I try not to let religion affect my relationships with people. Also, this: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/c7/09/2f/c7092ff02e5ecf...

5.I prefer Marvel over DC, but both are great and I’m so glad that DC finally have a movie universe going!

6.I can’t stand most of modern music, but there is the odd modern song or two that I can’t help but like to listen to.

7.I like rock, alternative-pop, alternative-rock, and some of pop, electro-pop & rap

8.My favourite musicians currently are Imagine Dragons, Mumford & Sons, Rudimental, ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic, Foster the People, Bliss n Eso and Kaiser Chiefs. My taste can change from time to time but I usually always love listening to these guys! This is kinda similar to the above point, but also kinda not.

9.I spend most of my free time doing Lego, playing video games or computer stuff on my laptop.

10.I don’t know exactly what my first Lego set was, but I think it may have been some Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban sets (4750, 4751, 4753, 4755), most of which I still own to this day, over 11 years later!

11.Segwaying nicely from that, my favourite media themes are Harry Potter, Star Wars, LOTR, Marvel, DC Comics and Lego, of course!

12.My favourite Lego sets I own are probably Benny’s Spaceship, Mos Eislely Cantina set, the BTTF Delorean, Hulk Lab Smash and the Goblin King Battle. I also have both of the Laketown sets from the Hobbit and they look very nice when together!

13.My biggest regret in Lego is asking for the Death Star set for Xmas, getting it, and not doing a thing with it! I may sell it at some point because as much as I love it, I own prefer (and get more out of) some smaller/newer sets. I'm thinking of getting the Ewok Village if I do sell it on!

14.The subject that I am taking for my GCSE’s are English, Maths, Double Science, History (which I greatly regret), Geography (which I enjoy most), Graphic Products (which I do not regret at all), French (which I suck at) and R.E. (which was a forced option since I go to a Catholic School :( )

15.My favourite ever video games are Just Cause 2, Star Wars Battlefront 1 & 2, LOTR: Conquest, Saints Row 3, GTA V, Spec Ops: The Line, Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Red Fraction Guerilla, Minecraft, Red Dead Redemption and Cities: Skylines.

16.I don’t get why people like Nintendo, Sonic and similar things, I always thought that they were for kids (says the guy who doesn’t go a single day without seeing/thinking about Lego). On a side note, F**K ANIBO/SKYLANDERS/INFINITY and now LEGO DIMENSIONS! I really hate that overpriced stupid sh**! If you pay for a game, you should get all of the game you bought (unless it is good dlc like in Lego Batman 3). The playable characters should NOT be expensive bulls**t DLC extras!!!!! Just getting that out there. If you agree with me, please say so in thee comments. I would like to actually know who doenn’t support this crap.

17.I would probably like a career in Journalism, Reporting or something to do with Lego, comic books or movies, but I still don’t want to decide on anything final.

18.My favourite TV Shows are Community, Doctor Who, Arrow, The Flash, Gotham, Grimm, Archer, Red vs Blue, Merlin, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Breaking Bad, Daredevil and The I.T. Crowd

19.My favourite ever YouTuber is NerdCubed. I have watched every single video he’s ever made (which is quite sad now I think of it). Also, he love Lego, which is super cool! In a close second and third is Let’s Play & The Gaming Lemon. I also can’t stand generic Mincraft youtubers like Stampy, SkyDoesMinecraft & AntVenom! They just really piss me off and I can’t really think of a reason why, but they just do! Maybe it’s the facy they get rich and millions of views from 7 year old who have just discovered the internet? I dunno…

20.My favourite font is Bookman Old Style, just cuz.

21.My favourite 10 movies EVER are Star Wars: A New Hope, Guardians of the Galaxy, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II, Avenger: Age of Ultron, Jurassic Park and The Dark Knight, Captian America: The Winter Soldier, Iron Man, X-Men: DOFP & Inception!

Well that certainly took a long time (43 mins of writing and 36 mins to make the pic to be exact!) I guess I should tag some people also, so I tag TowerCustoms, SwagMasterProductions, lsw712, the admiral, XSilent-Commando, timo supremo, masterchiefofawesome, legodude brown and OB1 KnoB.

Thanks all for reading! Happy Lego-ing :)

When not busy guarding the galaxy, Luke is trick-or-treating.

So here he is. Most of the details were done with a toothpick, so they may be a little messy. I'm not the best painter but I'm still very happy with the way he came out. I'm not sure why I made him, but my Guardians figures didn't seem complete without him. The trench coat was made out of paper then painted. the gold darts on the top of his right side were made out of the middle part of a Brickforge arrow. I painted a orb and a arrow for him. The mohawk was made out of sculpey.

Bard's present for Tauriel – Baby Groot for a Silvan Elf, an inhabitant of Mirkwood. Could there be a more perfect gift?

The Master of the Sun and Peter finally found their way to a training room. The two of them parted ways as Peter entered the room to test his skills. Peter brandished his new gun as he traversed the rocky terrain.

"Man I wish I had music." Peter said this half expecting for music to magicly turn on in his helmet.

As Peter finds himself on the edge of a ravine, footsteps make themselves known behind him. Peter reads a screen on his visor that shows two lifeforms approaching. He raises his gun in preparation to kill any hostiles. The two lifeforms peak their head around a rock and Peter chuckles as he sees their funny appearance. The two blue-men walk out form their cover and get closer towards the still-laughing Peter.

"What are you laughing at, human?"

"Wha... Oh, nothing."

"Put your weapon on the ground and we'll let you move on peacefully."

"Not gonna happen."

"Then we'll have to kill you."

Peter raises his gun and shoots a laser bolt towards the one on the left. The bolt connects, practically ripping straight through the creatures chest.

"You son of a!"

"Nuh uh!"

Peter cuts the alien off before he can finish. The alien shoots a bolt of light at Peter but he was able to slide away just in time. Before he can fully stand up, Peter shoots a bolt at the second alien. Just like the first, the bolt rips through the chest of the alien and the creature drops lifelessly to the ground.

"Good, Peter."

The Master's echos throughout the training room and suddenly Peter finds himself standing in a small room right in front of the Master.

"Congratulations, Star-Lord."

Peter's heart pounded as he heard those words. All his life has lead to this point. He can now travel the stars.

"One more thing, before you go."

The Master of the Sun motions Peter to follow hi once again. The path seemed shorter this time around. Peter and the Master found themselves at the gate where Peter first arrived. Though this time there by the gate awaited a spacecraft of sorts.

"What is that?"

"This is your ship. Simply named, 'Ship'."

"It's beautiful."

"Thank you."

Peter looked around to see where the voice came from, but seemingly found no source. He took off his mask and gave a puzzled look to the Master.

"That was the ship."

"It can talk?"

"Why, yes. Yes it can. I hope that won't be too strange for you."

"No, that's awesome!"

Peter stepped closer to the ship and put his hand onto the side of the hull. He marveled at the craftsmanship that this must have taken. He's never seen anything like it before.

"I am the vessel of the Star-Lord. I will be your escort through the galaxy."

"Oh man! This is so cool!"

The cockpit slid open and Peter jumped into the seat. Like a kid in a candy store, Peter's eyes lit up as he inspected every button, lever, and screen. The cockpit closed over his head and the window's opened up revealing the view outside. Before he could say anything the ship asked the question he had so many answers to.

"Where to first?"

Slow week for me (lego wise, work has been a pain) I had this photo with me for a while, So I'll just post it, the stand allows the ship to stand like it flies in the movie so I like it for that, I will try to make it in appropiated colors later on.

Hope you like it!

Hello guys!

After a very very very x1738953 long waiting I'm finally showing you guys my fully Lego Custom Painted Rocket Raccoon minifigure. So the main idea here is use Maggie's body from The Simpsons line with a Rocket Raccoon head in order to make a shorter Rocket Raccoon ( Lego's was too tall in many people's opinion ). I repainted his head in dark brown and his shoulder pad in black ( which I kinda regret ). The on his torso I did a lot of work! I painted all the details on his torso, on the sides ( that was hard because the paint chips off ) and the back. The front has his straps and that weird three part design thing on the center. The sides have some kind of plates that are a continuation of the front and the back has that "backpack" with all those machines. I also painted his feet on brown. His arms were fully painted on dark brown and his hands are dark brown too. I also sculpted him a tail which I'm very very proud because this is my first sculpt and I think it's very accurate! I painted the tail on dark brown and with some black stripes. Rocket is equipped with a normal Lego gun with some binoculars and a hand to make a scope ( I'm not much of a fan of guns so I din't really cared about that aspect ).To check more detail onto this figure check this video here please:

Now I want to thanks to 3 big friends here on Flickr that helped me very much with this figure. They are: Zach ( aka TheLegoZealot ), Gonçalo ( aka Melted Bricks ) and Hugo ( aka The Clone Maker 829 ). Thank you guys so much! If it wasn't for you none of this was possible! All I learned so far about painting mainly came for you guys! So thanks! And also to all of you who supported me! Please comment with your opinion on this figure and what I could change to make it better!

Behold, your Guardians of the Galaxy!

Aside from Drax and Groot being Vol.1 figures all of these are Vol.2 figures. I used the first Drax because as neat as yelling Drax looked, it wasn't what I was going for in this picture.

Star Lord is a customized Ego 2-pack version with added fingerless gloves and I swapped his boots for black ones and added a 30 gauge wire to a set of headphones for him to wear as well as adding the blue to pink heat discoloration tot he gun barrel shrouds on his blasters. I'm not completely done yet as I'd like to experiment with painting is walkman blue and silver and painting the headphone ear foam orange.

Yondu has a custom swapped control Mohawk that I took off a whistling head sculpt and transplanted onto the smiling head.

Everyone else is stock.

Finally saw Guardians of the Galaxy over the weekend. Completely entertained by Chris Pratt and, of course, Groot!

Me and Michael Rooker from Wizard World Philadelphia 2013. I look like I'm in love but I was just talking when they snapped the photo. LOL

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" always travel with the trusty "Milano" that always serves them well. This sleek, and agile Spaceship is greatly maneuverable, and can take many hits before going down.

Comparison pic :).

Rocket is sort of an animal, so he fits this week's Awesome theme. Happy Halloween!

"Hey, Quill! Get me that guy's arm."

"Are you nuts? I'm not falling for that again."

"Okay, okay, just kidding. I really just need his hand."

Hulk-"HULK PINCH PUNY GREENLESS PEOPLE!!"

Spidey-"Glad Hulk isn't pinching me this year!"

Happy St. Patrick's day!

Peter Quill, aka Star Lord from Marvel's The Guardians of the Galaxy, finally arrives on Planet Toyville.
