I'd never seen one of these before... he (she?) came swooping in to fish close to where I was attempting to sneak up on a turtle. I couldn't pass up the opportunity.
I didnt get the shoes in there wery well, but you can just imagine the sheer chartreusity of it all.
At Kellie's Castle, Perak, Malaysia.
Kellie's Castle (sometimes also called Kellie's Folly) is located near Batu Gajah, and is about 20 minutes' drive from Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. The unfinished, ruined mansion, was built by a Scottish planter named William Kellie Smith. According to differing accounts, it was either a gift for his wife or a home for his son.

I looked up on the wall and saw that this huge grasshopper had invited himself in.
He was very beautiful, so I took a picture of him, and then showed him the way out.
Right about 600 megapixles. This was also the second to last panorama to be put out by my XSi – the shutter died soon after. {A repair is under way!} The lens was a 135mm Super-Takumar. (The 50mm in the EXIF is from the focus confirmation chip)

Found this Green Heron at lake Logan. When I first spotted it I was not sure it was real, I got within 10 feet of it and it didn't move at all. I watched it for 10 minutes and it never moved. I final decided that it was either dead or was not real. As I started to walk away and it moved. (just a little) I was lucky enough to get about 50 images of this bird before it moved away.
