though i take photographs with sharp focus usually, but off-focus ones fascinate me so much because of their beautifully diffused colours :-)

This Green Heron wasn't the slightest bit bothered by walkers, joggers and cyclists using a path only a few feet away from where it was busy hunting for tasty treats along the edge of one of the lakes at Regional Lakes Park, Fort Myers.

Mangla Dam bed after the water has receded these days
It was a fascinating sight and the most interesting thing was the fact that what appeared to be very far, was actually quite near. Its just 75 mins drive from Islamabad. But you need a jeep to reach the centre as the soil is quite soggy and soft.

Nothing sums up the joys of spring to me more than the unique green of the first Beech leaves as they unfurl! They often look more dramatic in the suns rays, but this cloudy shot somehow sums up their beauty more I think! How can such a hard shiny leaf start out so soft and delicate! Green gloves by the National is a great description!
