Giving grace is the real level up. It is so easy to give into anger or revenge by putting the effort in to belittling people. Using whatever influence you have to destroy their reputation whether it be by lies or a past mistakes. It is even easier to put the energy forth to make oneself seem higher then others. This makes people feel like they are strong, powerful, or even like a living god.
The truth is it takes real strength is to forgive those who hurt you. Even the ones who stabbed you deep in the back and left you for dead. The ones that most of society would think you would be crazy to forgive. The strength doesn't come from just forgiving them....no...the strength is fully developed when you are able to show grace as well as forgiveness. Meeting people where they are in their maturity journey and providing mercy without expecting anything in return takes extreme inner peace. Simply put...there is nothing stronger then that!
This is at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. I took this Photo a while ago and I already posted some other photos from this Cathedral. With this one I tried to get to something more ethereal and majestic looking.

[Bidding adieu to our neotropical visitors until next Spring] A graceful Grace's Warbler seen at Madera Canyon.
We saw and heard many Grace's Warblers while we were in Southeastern Arizona but every one of them were very high in the pines and extremely difficult to photograph. We found a few in Utah near Zion National Park that were actually much lower in the trees and some were close to eye level. It may have been because it had rained through the night and was pretty cool in the morning???
Jane and I had a fantastic day photographing all our friends and family at little Maise's Christening.

Cut down from a multi-shot panorama. I was mostly checking this to see how the stitching came together and I'm fairly happy with it.
Looking at the shot, I'm happy that the beautiful light and color from the stained glass windows comes through.
Mount Grace Priory lies in the parish of East Harlsey, North Yorkshire. It is the best preserved of the nine medieval Carthusian houses in England. It was founded in 1398 by Thomas Holland, 1st Duke of Surrey, the son of King Richard II's half-brother Thomas, Earl of Kent. It was the last monastery established in Yorkshire, and one of the few founded anywhere in Britain in the period between the Black Death (1349–50) and the Reformation. It was a fairly small establishment, with space for a prior and twenty-three monks.
Mount Grace Priory consisted of a church and two cloisters. The Great Cloister, to the north of the church, had seventeen cells for monks whilst the southern Lesser Cloister had six cells for the lay brothers. (Wikipedia)
Today you can visit a reconstructed monk's cell and enjoy the beautiful gardens as well as the tranquility of the ruins.

Mount Grace Priory was founded in 1398 by Richard II’s nephew Thomas de Holland.
It is the best-preserved Carthusian monastery in England. The priory is even used by historians as a ‘type site’, or model, for the study of other medieval Carthusian buildings.
Mount Grace was one of only nine Carthusian monasteries, also known as charterhouses, in medieval England.
Carthusian monks lived solitary lives. They spent most of their time in isolated cells and lived according to a strict timetable.
Mount Grace was one of the last monasteries in Yorkshire to be suppressed during the Reformation.
In the 17th century, part of the priory was remodelled as a mansion.
In the early 20th century, the site was bought by wealthy industrialist Lowthian Bell. Bell enlarged and remodelled the mansion at Mount Grace in the Arts and Crafts style championed by William Morris.

It is such a beautiful building. The lines, the reflection of the windows and his round shape.
The building is located at 1114 Avenue of the Americas (also known as Sixth Avenue), but the main entrance is on 42nd Street, between 5th and 6th.
