The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) operates the world's largest fleet of CNG-powered buses. After Pune, Delhi was the second city in India to have an operational Bus rapid transit (BRT) system
Delhi has one of India's largest bus transport systems. Buses are the most popular means of transport catering to about 60% of Delhi's total demand. Buses are operated by the state-owned Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC), which owns largest fleet of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-fueled buses in the world, private Blueline bus operators and several chartered bus operators. It is mandatory for all private bus operators to acquire a permit from the State Transport Authority. The buses traverse various well-defined intra-city routes. Other than regular routes, buses also travel on Railway Special routes; Metro Feeder routes. Mudrika (Ring) and Bahri Mudrika (Outer Ring) routes along Ring and Outer-Ring road respectively are amongst the longest intra-city bus routes in the world.
With the introduction of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and the development of dedicated corridors for the service, bus service is set to improve. The DTC has started introducing air-conditioned buses and brand new low-floor buses (with floor height of 400 mm and even higher on one third area as against 230 mm available internationally.) on city streets to replace the conventional buses. A revamp plan is underway to improve bus-shelters in the city and to integrate GPS systems in DTC buses and bus stops so as to provide reliable information about bus arrivals.
n 2007, after public uproar concerning the large number of accidents caused by privately-owned Blueline buses, the Delhi government, under pressure from the Delhi High Court decided that all Blueline Buses shall be phased out and be eventually replaced by low floor buses of the state-owned DTC
The Delhi Government has decided to expedite this process and will procure 6,600 low floor buses for the DTC by commonwealth games next year
By 2010, Delhi will have over 8000 buses, of which Delhi Transport Corporation will provide 6000 while 2000 would be blueline buses, 3125 will be low-floor ,1100 semi low floor and 1000 of them would be air-conditioned. Few buses would have GPS to prevent them from straying to other routes. The city already has 655 low-floor AC and non-AC buses. The bus routes are also being increased to 670 from the current 357 routes. Delhi plans to add at least 2500 of these new buses by the end of 2009.
The city has been divided into 17 clusters. Bus services in each of these clusters will be run by private operators. The first cluster is to be awarded by September 2008. The first cluster has 32 routes, on which a total of 295 DTC and 270 private buses will run. The operators will be given the option of running 20 percent AC buses.
With the introduction of new buses, DTC will be recruiting 4000 drivers to run the new buses
In November 2009, DTC piloted a program to introduce the smart card where the commuters would be able to pay the fare through the smart card. They have decided to install the machines in 10000 buses

The Grob G 115 (Tutor) is an advanced general aviation fixed-wing aircraft, primarily used for flight training. It is built in Germany by Grob Aircraft (Grob Aerospace before January 2009).The E variant with a 3-blade variable pitch propeller is in Royal Air Force service as an elementary flying trainer.
The aircraft is constructed of carbon composite materials. The main fuselage and each wing spar is a single piece. It has a fixed Tricycle undercarriage with spatted wheels, a short nose bearing the 180 hp engine and a 3-bladed variable-pitch propeller. The cockpit features a broad canopy arch with good forward visibility and with side-by-side seating for pilot and student. The wings are tapered with square tips and the empennage consists of a large fin and rudder with an oblong tailplane with square tips mid-set to the fuselage.
The aircraft is capable of basic aerobatic manoeuvres (limited to +6G and -3G).
With the retirement of the Scottish Aviation Bulldog T.1 from Royal Air Force University Air Squadrons (UASs) and Air Experience Flights (AEFs), a new system was put in place for the provision of the UAS and AEF flying tasks. Aircraft were to be owned and operated by private industry, contracted to the Ministry of Defence (MoD). The aircraft chosen for this task was the Grob 115, designated Tutor T1 by the MoD. The Tutor fleet is owned and maintained by a civilian company, Babcock, and carry British civilian registrations under a Private Finance Initiative (PFI) scheme, painted overall white with blue flashes and RAF roundels.
RAF Elementary Flying Training (EFT) is taught on the Grob Tutor at RAF Cranwell, Wyton and Church Fenton by reserve squadrons teaching the EFT syllabus to direct entrants and former UAS students, with students streamed according to ability: Fast Jet, Rotary Wing, Multi-Engine or non-pilot roles.
Until 2005 the Tutor was used by UASs to provide EFT to university students, many sponsored by the RAF. From 2006, UAS students are no longer taught EFT, they follow an unassessed flying syllabus similar to EFT, but with only a 36 hour course and the possibility of progression to more advanced training on merit. The Tutor is also used by AEFs to provide flying experience for cadets of the Air Training Corps (ATC) and Combined Cadet Force (CCF), replacing the Bulldog in these roles at the turn of the century. The final AEF to receive the Tutor was 10 AEF based at RAF Woodvale in Merseyside, in 2001. 10 AEF was incidentally also the last AEF to receive the Bulldog in 1996, replacing the Chipmunk.
Five Tutor T1s are also operated by 727 Naval Air Squadron of the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm for trainee pilot grading.
In 2009 some Tutor squadrons began to receive new Enhanced Avionics (EA) Tutors, with an updated and enhanced instrument panel, featuring a Garmin GNS 430W GPS system, digital HSI and digital engine instruments. Other than the cockpit modifications these aircraft are exactly the same as the standard Tutors with the exception of an extra VHF aerial for the new GPS system.
The Defence Elementary Flying Training School at RAF Barkston Heath also operates the Tutor.

The swarming honeybees have kept me very busy this spring. As the first night falls on the new colony most of the bees will move inside and begin the task of building comb. Just before darkness sets in I climb a 12' ladder, temporarily close off the entrance, slide the box onto my shoulder and carry it down to the apiary, otherwise known as my backyard. Moving them as soon as possible will prevent the foragers from learning this location as their new home. The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) operates the world's largest fleet of CNG-powered buses. After Pune, Delhi was the second city in India to have an operational Bus rapid transit (BRT) system
Delhi has one of India's largest bus transport systems. Buses are the most popular means of transport catering to about 60% of Delhi's total demand. Buses are operated by the state-owned Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC), which owns largest fleet of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-fueled buses in the world, private Blueline bus operators and several chartered bus operators. It is mandatory for all private bus operators to acquire a permit from the State Transport Authority. The buses traverse various well-defined intra-city routes. Other than regular routes, buses also travel on Railway Special routes; Metro Feeder routes. Mudrika (Ring) and Bahri Mudrika (Outer Ring) routes along Ring and Outer-Ring road respectively are amongst the longest intra-city bus routes in the world.
With the introduction of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and the development of dedicated corridors for the service, bus service is set to improve. The DTC has started introducing air-conditioned buses and brand new low-floor buses (with floor height of 400 mm and even higher on one third area as against 230 mm available internationally.) on city streets to replace the conventional buses. A revamp plan is underway to improve bus-shelters in the city and to integrate GPS systems in DTC buses and bus stops so as to provide reliable information about bus arrivals.
n 2007, after public uproar concerning the large number of accidents caused by privately-owned Blueline buses, the Delhi government, under pressure from the Delhi High Court decided that all Blueline Buses shall be phased out and be eventually replaced by low floor buses of the state-owned DTC
The Delhi Government has decided to expedite this process and will procure 6,600 low floor buses for the DTC by commonwealth games next year
By 2010, Delhi will have over 8000 buses, of which Delhi Transport Corporation will provide 6000 while 2000 would be blueline buses, 3125 will be low-floor ,1100 semi low floor and 1000 of them would be air-conditioned. Few buses would have GPS to prevent them from straying to other routes. The city already has 655 low-floor AC and non-AC buses. The bus routes are also being increased to 670 from the current 357 routes. Delhi plans to add at least 2500 of these new buses by the end of 2009.
The city has been divided into 17 clusters. Bus services in each of these clusters will be run by private operators. The first cluster is to be awarded by September 2008. The first cluster has 32 routes, on which a total of 295 DTC and 270 private buses will run. The operators will be given the option of running 20 percent AC buses.
With the introduction of new buses, DTC will be recruiting 4000 drivers to run the new buses
In November 2009, DTC piloted a program to introduce the smart card where the commuters would be able to pay the fare through the smart card. They have decided to install the machines in 10000 buses

Fernando Lara recently completed a Hispanic Access Foundation biology and Geographic Information System (GIS) internship at the Ventura Fish and Wildlife Office. He is interviewed by public affairs specialist, Vanessa Morales. Read on to learn about his path to wildlife conservation through geography.
VM: Hey Fernando! Can you tell me about your Hispanic Access Foundation internships?
FL: I started as a biology intern for six months, doing a lot of educational outreach, including joining the MERITO Foundation Beach Camp in Ventura to teach students about ocean ecosystems. I also helped create educational videos about different species and habitats that reside around the Ventura Fish and Wildlife Office jurisdiction. Additionally, I did a lot of technical writing like the species status of the California condor and an informal consultation for the Southern sea otter.
After that, I served as a GIS intern, and in this position, I was able to work on geospatial analysis with products the office uses. I got the chance to participate in a lot of field opportunities and visited the Guadalupe Nipomo Dunes National Wildlife Refuge where the staff and I worked on trail mapping for the refuge. They hope creating a new map will make the refuge more accessible to anyone who wants to visit it. I also visited the Bitter Creek National Wildlife Refuge to participate in California condor check ups. We worked with the Santa Barbara Zoo, and I got to see how data was collected and how they are trapped for lead testing.
VM: Sounds like you had great experiences! Can you tell me about where you went to school and what you studied?
FL: I attended California State University Long Beach and majored in Geography with a focus in GIS. I was especially interested in natural resource management.
VM: What made you want to pursue your major?
FL: My girlfriend is a school guidance counselor. She saw I was miserable in my business classes, because at the time I was pursuing a business administration major. She said, “You love maps and Google Maps, so why don’t you try switching your major to geography?” At the time, I didn’t know if there were employment opportunities as a geographer, but the school opened my eyes to the different fields I could get involved with. Sure enough, I switched majors and excelled. Overall, I did enjoy their geography program.
VM: What great advice from your girlfriend! Is there something or someone you can point to that sparked your interest in maps and the outdoors?
FL: The person who got me into maps was my dad. He used to go out of town for work, and we had just purchased a computer and internet. He did not have a GPS system in his truck, so he would call me on the phone, and I would be his navigator, live streaming him directions that I read from a map on the computer.
The reason I got into natural resource management is because I’ve always had a passion for conservation and being in the outdoors. I grew up watching Animal Planet and Discovery. I thought they were so cool. Also grew up going to my grandpa’s ranch in Mexico so I spent a lot of time outdoors and I loved it.
VM: Amazing! Can you tell me why you think it is important for Latinos to be involved in the outdoors and wildlife conservation?
FL: I do think it is important. My parents came here in 1992 and their whole background has always been rural living in Mexico, working the land, and I think it is important for us to follow those traditions we have, like living with the land. My family came from humble beginnings, but it is really disheartening to see a lot of the younger generations disconnect from nature. I think it's important for us to advocate for Hispanic and Latino communities to enjoy green spaces. I know many times there is a fear because of immigrant status, but it is important to show people what they could be missing out on. We need to encourage people to get out there more and make them feel comfortable. I know I had imposter syndrome and did not feel like I belonged, but the land and the outdoors are for everyone, so I grew out of that. However, I can see how that feeling could remain in others.
VM: Can you tell me about any memorable field opportunities you’ve had, either in your internship or during school?
FL: Yes, I did some professional development at a Pinnacles National Park when I was a biology intern. I got to meet the Superintendent and many amazing biologists who showed me around the park and their work. I spent a couple of days camping and got to see how they track the California condors. I learned about their interpretive program where rangers lead interpretive hikes with guests. I thought it was really cool to see how all divisions of the park work together in harmony.
VM: Wow, sounds like it was a great opportunity! What’s next for you, Fernando?
FL: I did recently accept an offer for a permanent geographer position at the Ventura Fish and Wildlife Office. I am also planning on getting my master’s degree.
VM: Congratulations! Do you think your HAF internships with the USFWS solidified your choice to follow this career path?
FL: They did. With all the field opportunities and things I learned as a GIS intern, the experience definitely sealed the deal for my career path.

Taken from Skandavel or skanda Vale is a beautiful Hindu temple
/Monastery in Llanpumsaint community, Carmarthenshire, south-west
Wales dedicated to Lord Subramanya ( also known as Skanda,
Karttikeya, and Muruga). A beautiful countryside pilgrimage centre
with accommodation facilities. It started in 1973. Unlike many other
temples I visited India and in U.K this one is unique with that calm
and peaceful atmosphere of an ashram. If you are visiting the place
keep that in mind. All worship, meals and accommodation at Skanda Vale
are offered free of charge.
Some information I felt useful for the pilgrims.
There is three major temples there with regular pooja"s, that is every
single day of the year.
Murugan Temple – 05:00, 13:30, 21:00.
Maha Shakti Temple – 06:30, 18:00.
Sri Ranganatha Temple – 09:30 ( this information need to be crossed
checked with Temple website). The Murugan Temple and Maha Shakti
Temple are closed to the public outside these times so if you are
planing to visit the temple try to arrange the trip accordingly. The
Sri Ranganatha Temple is open 24 hours a day. Oh yes there is a lovely
elephant there. Cute and naughty one.
Since it is a remote area, i thought I will give you a bit more
information about the travel route: The GPS systems and Tom toms can
sometimes fool you. It happens to us and many of our friends during
their skandavale journey.
So this is the direction for car (or mini bus- not for anything larger
than this).
1.Coming from London side took M4 (around 4 hours it take) to the end
of the motorway you can see the Pont Abraham Service Area.
2. At this roundabout take the second exit to the A48 (signposted Carmarthen).
3.Continue on the A48 to Carmarthen.
4. End of A48 dual carriageway, take the third exit onto the A40
Carmarthen eastern bypass. (signposted Town Centre / Llandeilo).
5.Go straight ahead at the next roundabout, continuing on the dual carriageway.
6. At the next roundabout take the first exit to A485 (signposted Lampeter).
7. At the next roundabout take the second exit onto the A485(
signposted Lampeter)
8. Continue on the A485 for 5 miles. (you will pass Peniel,
Rhydargaeau and Pontarsais)
9. Turn first left after the ‘Stag and Pheasant’ pub (signposted
Skanda Vale / Llanpumsaint)
10. Follow this single track road for about 2 miles.
11. At the next junction,turn right and follow the sign for Skanda
Vale over a small bridge.
12. Continue for another 2 miles until the end of the road where you
will see the sign Skanda Vale’.

When award-winning golf architect Michael Hurdzan, Golf World Magazine’s 1997 Architect of the Year, sets out to design a course he says that he wants to “create a ‘Wow’ effect for golfers.” At his Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club, named ‘Best New Course in Canada in 1996’ by SCOREGolf Magazine, Hurdzan created his patented “Wow” effect on virtually every hole.
As a result, there is no ‘signature’ hole at the spectacular layout on Eagle Mountain because each hole stands alone. Whether playing from the back tees at 6,770 yards or from any of the other three tee boxes that gradually shorten the course to 5,514 yards, players are confronted by a singular challenge on each hole – deciding whether the view is more striking from the tee or from the green. The ProShot GPS system on each power cart takes the pressure off club selection by displaying precise yardages on easy-to-read screens. It also provides yardages to the hazards; individual tips on playing the hole; updates on your tournament; and ProShot can quickly relay messages in case of emergencies. Call centre Operator Atul Tomar, keeps a watch at the Janani express ( Ambulance service for pregnant woman) call centre at the district hospital, Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh. Despite being one of the most mineral rich states in India, with vast hoards of diamonds, Madhya Pradesh is one of the poorest with 40% of its population living in poverty. The state also has some of the worst development statistics in India. Of every 100,000 live births in Madhya Pradesh - 310 mothers will die, while 59 new-borns will die for every 1000 live births - one of the highest infant mortality rates in the country, and compares starkly with Kerala for example where 14 infants will die out of 1000 live births. This number jumps to 63 newborn deaths for every 1000 live births in rural areas. The Janani Express mini buses and vehicles have been equipped with GPS systems that allow a call centre control room at the district hospital to allocate the nearest bus for the fastest despatch, and to track its progress on route to the clinics. 35 vehicles have been bought and equipped in Shivpuri district alone. When I flew the Mavic Air drone last year and Dji Mavic Air 2 this year, I marveled at how DJI managed to make a drone so small yet so nimble and easy to fly, that delivered such good video – all at a reasonable price. With the Mavic Mini, DJI has improved on the Air in nearly every aspect. This newer $400 device is even smaller, yet is just as easy to fly, plus it can stay in the air even longer than its predecessor.
While the Mavic Mini can’t shoot 4K video, the footage it captures is every bit as good, and should be more than enough for most casual fliers. It’s now my top pick for the best drone.
DJI Mavic Mini design:
The Mavic Mini’s headline feature is its takeoff weight, 249 grams, which is proudly displayed on the airframe. It’s just a bit less than the 250g (8.8-ounce) threshold at which you’re required to register with the FAA before flying outdoors in the US. It’s even lighter than the DJI Spark, the next-smallest drone in the company’s lineup. Take that, Feds!
DJI did note that adding the propeller guard brings the Mini’s weight above 250 grams, but whatever. The Mini is truly compact, though – more so than DJI’s other drones: The device easily fits in the palm of my hand; you can stuff the Mini in a backpack and still have room for plenty of other stuff.
This doesn’t mean that you can fly the Mini anywhere you choose. You still have to follow the rules as any other drone operator does; you just don’t have to register the device with the FAA.

Dji Mavic mini camera specs :
Given that the camera is arguably the most important part of a drone (not for nothing is DJI calling this the Everyday Fly Cam), this writer is happy to report that it’s a little cracker. Granted, it doesn’t support some of the picture and video profile choices of the larger Mavics, but even the standard picture setting is excellent right out of the box.
The Mavic Mini shoots 1080p video at up to 60 frames per second and super crisp 2.7K at up to 30fps. The fact it doesn’t shoot in full 4K is in no way a hindrance because 2.7K is plenty good enough for the average computer monitor and certainly any tablet or phone. Besides, 4K files are so massive (up to several gigabytes for each clip), they tend to take up loads of hard disk space and make editing on anything other than a well-specced computer a stuttering nightmare. And anyway, at this price there had to be some kind of tradeoff.
For those into their photography, the drone’s 1/2.3” CMOS-equipped camera shoots immaculate 12mp stills that really pop when snapped in good lighting conditions; it isn’t too shabby in low light either. As to be expected, the drone’s little mechanical three-axis gimbal ensures that all video remains absolutely rock solid and stills pin sharp no matter how jumpy the drone may look in flight, even when it’s battling against a stiff breeze. Dji Mavic Mini battery life:
One of the best features of the Mavic Mini is its estimated 30-minute battery life. That’s the same flight time as the Mavic 2 Pro, which costs more than twice as much, and 10 minutes longer than the Mavic Air. This was largely borne out in my testing, though if you’re flying in stronger winds, you’ll find that battery life drops as the drone works harder to stay in position. However, the DJI Mavic Air 2 has slightly longer endurance, at 34 minutes.

The remote itself is pretty basic. It has removable joysticks, which stow inside when not in use; the left stick controls altitude and rotation, while the right stick moves the drone forward, backward, left, and right.

There’s a Record button on the left shoulder and a Photo button on the right. You also get a control wheel, on the left, to adjust camera pitch. There’s no dedicated dial to adjust the brightness of your scene via EV compensation. Instead, you’ll need to set that via the app’s touch interface. I would have preferred a remote with two wheels, one for camera control and another for EV, like you get with the higher-end Mavic models.

Verdict – It worth?
The DJI Mavic Mini is a masterful balance of portability, price, image quality, and convenience. Its featherweight, foldable design means you can fly it without needing to register it first, and despite its size it still manages to offer remarkably stable video. The Mavic Mini doesn’t have object tracking or object avoidance, and doesn’t capture 4K video, topping out at 2.7K at 30fps; but it weighs no more than five golf balls, lasts a solid 30 minutes in the air, and could fit in a large jacket pocket if needed – which means this mighty, mini drone’s pros soar way above its cons.

The poster project was an interesting project. The purpose of the assignment was to find a topic that involved societal issues. For my overall subject I chose to take pictures of technology and it's impact on the world. I was to capture fourteen issues that I personally use almost everyday.
The center picture consisted of the topics I was going to cover throughout the project. Unfortunately I couldn't fit every technological issue because I either didn't own the technology or it was in a store. I found the center picture fascinating because almost every object of technology that was in the picture I use almost everyday and I don't know what I'd do without them.
My first picture on the top left was GPS systems in cars and their technological issues. GPS devices are fallible; they're made so by satellite communication errors and outdated or inaccurate maps. Even when maps are current, some mapping and navigation information doesn't take into account road types. With this type of software error, the road that may look like the shortest distance between Point A and Point B might actually be an unpaved private drive. Because of these factors, drivers find themselves driving on unsafe terrain and into other hazards, such as artificial lakes or train tracks. The more confident you are in what your GPS device tells you, the less likely you are to notice something's wrong. Accident risk increases when drivers take their GPS device's instructions too literally: Warnings of "when possible, make a legal U-turn" send some veering into oncoming traffic.
The second picture was based on portable chargers and it’s backfire on society. Batteries are known to overheat and catch on fire. Which poses a threat to security at airports and human lives. This critical issue is still on the rise and continues to as more people need the extra power for their phones or other devices and ignore the fact that their dangerous. I chose to use my Mophie case as the picture of my issue because I thought it was a prime image to portray portable chargers.
The third picture regards the technological issue of laptops and its effect on society. Laptops are dangerous in many ways. One of the many include; hackers and their ability to take over laptops and control their systems from the other side of the world. I chose to take a picture of a computer because computers are taking over our classes and people use them every day. I like this picture because I liked how it looks with the wood and the black which brings a nice contrast.
My fourth picture on the top right I had taken was in the Tesla store at the Santa Monica 3rd street promenade. Regarding large self driving companies such as Tesla and Google there have been several issues with their development of self driving cars and still have a long way to go. Problems of these include: technology that can’t control the behavior of other drivers. Autonomous vehicles will have to deal with drivers who speed, pass even when there’s a double yellow line and drive the wrong way on a one-way street. Also, weather was a prime cause of system failures after which human drivers had to take back control.
My fifth picture is about video gaming and it's effects on society. The effect of video game violence in kids is worsened by the games’ interactive nature. In many games, gamers are rewarded for being more violent. Too much video game playing makes people socially isolated. Also Games can confuse reality and fantasy. I own a video game console and I can easily say that playing video games certainly excludes me from, family time and more impactful things in life.
My sixth picture comprises of headphones and their concerning effects to humans as a whole. Headphones exclude people from conversation and not to mention being rude when one is taking. Listening to music with headphones can be especially dangerous especially because they destroy your ability of hearing properly. Also, thousands of people listen to music with their headphones on when driving. This act can be life threatening since the driver cannot hear outside noises and therefore wouldn't be able to hear the sound of a siren or car honking.
My seventh picture has been one of the most controversial topics in the past few years. Drones have numerous advantages to our society, however there are several disadvantages that are concerning to security and privacy. A growing number of drones have been flown dangerously close to commercial aircraft's, violating federal rules about their operation. In addition, privacy is one major concern as there are no laws that protect individuals against people stalking or spying on them in their homes, there are no federal laws in place that would protect individuals from being spied on specifically by a drone.
My eighth topic is about the Samsung galaxy note 7 phones and their repercussions of our society. All over America there have been numerous events where these specific phones have been exploding due to their batteries not fitting the actual phone causing it to overheat. The Note 7 has been banned on commercial and international flights because they are highlighted as a hazardous material.
My ninth issue is Game applications such Clash of Clans, Candy Crush and Mobile Strike that are accessible through mobile devices are creating an effect to our society. Not only are children addicted to these games, but also adults as I have seen my own grandfather glued to his device. Students often become easily distracted by these games and do not pay any attention in class. As I have also seen my friends do this throughout the school year.
The tenth picture was based on home security systems. Unfortunately a large percentage of security system activation's are false alarms. This is undeniably frustrating and expensive for homeowners who are inexperienced with security systems. This results in many of them deciding to avoid activating their system to avoid the inconvenience and expense of false alarms. Which is exactly what happened to my family and many other families that I know of.
The eleventh issue consists of social media and it’s continuous result to ruin society. There are countless problems with social media: addiction, lack of attention span, decline in intellectual abilities as well as bullying. Unfortunately, society and the many people I know base their lives around social media and how they portray their lives.
The twelfth topic is about the age of smartwatches and it’s exponential increase of demand. These watches are also marketed as medical devices and fitness trackers to acting as an extension of your smartphone. However, as smartwatches become mainstream, cyber criminals have been gifted with a new avenue to exploit in the quest to steal valuable data.
My thirteenth societal subject was based on television addiction. Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime are just a few online streamers that encourage watching television shows or movies. Similar to playing video games, it makes people socially isolated as well as antisocial. Preferably staying at home instead of going out with your friends is unhealthy and is a societal issue that needs to be taken care of.
The last picture and problem of technological issues involves virtual reality. Several complications have arisen in recent developments. Impairment of hearing and nausea is a significant issue among health problems people will face when using virtual reality headsets. With this image I wanted to capture someone actually using the VR and enhancing the contrast of the picture.
To conclude, the poster project was enjoyable, however I found difficulty trying to put the images onto the actual poster. I had also learn’t many interesting things about technology that I use everyday that I had no clue it would impact society.
