Central Oregon is well suited to raising cattle. This herd of mostly black ones is grazing near the town of Sisters, Oregon beneath the remains of a volcanic peak called Broken Top, At 9177 ft tall it is still a substantial mountain. Broken Top is a glacially eroded complex stratovolcano that last erupted about 100,000;years ago. The nearby Three Sisters volcanic peaks are only about 1000 ft taller. In Scotland this glow before the sunset would be called the gloaming.
Gloaming time just after the sun has set, Winterton on Sea, Norfolk. I would normally try to separate trees but these two seem to work together.

Mount Everest, also known in Nepal as Sagarmāthā and in Tibet as Jo mo Gang ma, is Earth's highest mountain. It is located in the Mahalangur mountain range in Nepal. Its peak is 8,848 metres (29,029 ft) above sea level. It is not the furthest summit from the centre of the Earth. That honour goes to Mount Chimborazo, in the Andes. The international border between China and Nepal runs across Everest's precise summit point. Its massif includes neighbouring peaks Lhotse, 8,516 m (27,940 ft); Nuptse, 7,855 m (25,771 ft) and Changtse, 7,580 m (24,870 ft).

Upon twilight the sky softly turns to blue just after the sun has set, while the station lights illuminate the surrounding area!
Seafield beach before dawn, it looks warm but was bitterly cold and windy. The street lights of Ediburgh can be seen on the right side. Wee bit if burnout in the sky and hummed and hawed about posting this.

Well, perhaps it was very slightly before the gloaming as it was a few minutes before sunset, but the title just appeared in my head and stuck...
This was taken near Strands in Nether Wasdale. Illgill Head is the fell on the right, with the slopes of the Scafells beyond (centre).
