This glass horse was made specially for my son and I as we observed the Maestro at work in Murano. The warm glow of the furnace kept us cozy from the chilly day outside. It was a very memorable experience for both of us.
I love art glass. I created this image of my very favourite glass dragon for a "glass" themed competition. Not a scrap of "real" lighting gear; used an LED desk lamp with a goose neck, pointed up under the piece through a glass coffee table and black foam core as a backdrop. I have so much to learn about light spilling, etc. But, it was a fun exercise. Thanks to my long-suffering photo-assistant Ben, for the patience and encouragement.
