On a rather quiet Tuesday morning, I managed to capture this photo of a woman’s reflection framed within the glass shopfronts of Sydney’s QVB (Queen Victoria Building).

GLASS
I am a great fan of anything made out of Glass. Whether it is stained glass windows, art or studio glass or just ordinary glass objects. Some of today’s pieces were taken at home, like the 3 pieces of blue glass from the bathroom and the rest were from my travels.
Macro Mondays theme for the 24th August is Glass.
Throughout much of my macro photography I shoot on glass to get the available light ...
Please look through the series of photos; using light, some with reflection, refracted light, detail and point of view ... not all are macro but are a compilation of glass, light and detail.
Photo excursion with flickr friends Tobias Neubert Photography, Johannes Roesch Photography, P. Höcherl, schda22. and newton_at_woolsthorpe heading the glass factory Lamberts at Waldsassen. It is worldwide one of the last three companies producing only mouth-blown glass.

Kijkend in een ledlamp zag ik prachtige kleuren door het glas.
Looking into a led lamp I saw beautiful colors through the glass.
