The last time I saw a Dennis Trident 2 take a reminiscent journey on its old route 16 was one with Plaxton President bodywork - which I caught from Church Street (EB) to Marble Arch Station (R) en route White City (walking to Marble Arch for a 94 to Shepherd's Bush then a two stop ride on whatever bus I caught from Shepherd's Bush Station to White City Bus Station to get photos of EA11040 (LK54 FKX), the last bendy-bus to operate in London) - on 9 December 2011. Here is a Dennis Trident 2 with Alexander ALX400 bodywork at Church Street, Edgware Road.

Nu-Venture's ex-Metroline TA 655 (LK05 GHB), an Alexander-bodied Dennis Trident, is pictured in Goods Station Road, Tunbridge Wells. It is operating one of the three journeys a day on route 77 that go beyond Tonbridge and terminate at Tunbridge Wells, taking over from a route largely abandoned by Arriva.

Built in 1953 for Garuda Indonesia Airways as PK-GHB. By April 1957 she was back in the UK as G-AOXL and flew with Morton Air Services until late 1971, including a period in the late 1960’s operating for British United Island Airways. She was then sold to Fjellfly in Norway and registered as LN-BFY. Sadly, the operation folded before the Heron entered service and she remained stored at Geiteryggen until 1984. She then joined the museum at Sola and was painted to represent ‘LN-PSG’ of Braathens S.A.F.E., an aeroplane based at Stavanger during the 1950’s.
Well preserved, she remains on display at the Flyhistorisk Museum, Sola, Norway.

In April 2018, 15662 WA10 GHB is seen at Barnstaple Bus Station before operating the 9:00 5B service to Exeter
Stagecoach Oxford 12013 OU10GHB is seen arriving into its terminus at Oxford City Centre whilst operating a 10 service from John Radcliffe Hospital on 12/06/21.
New to Stagecoach Oxford in July 2010, it was part of a batch of 26 new hybrid technology Enviro 400Hs new to the City during 2010. There are currently 12 left operational within the Stagecoach Oxford fleet and are now deployed almost exclusively on Service 10.

Sadly my phone didn't cope well with the sunlight glinting off the gleaming paintwork! As it happens I was on my way to the phone shop to upgrade to a new phone when I took this photo, so hopefully I will be able to do better in future on those occassions when I haven't got my camera with me.
This is a late Mark 2, registered after the Mark 3 had gone on sale.
