Gestern flog unser Seniorpartner Prof. Ehlers zur Sommerkonferenz 2018 der von Peter Braachi (Schweiz) und ihm vor über 21 Jahren gegründeten Conference Bleue European Lawyers‘ Conference on Pharmaceutical and Health Care Affairs nach Amsterdam. Nach ersten Meetings wurde die Konferenz gestern mit einem Dinner für die Mitglieder der Conference Bleue eröffnet. Heute stehen Referate und Diskussionen zu „Pricing and reimbursement developments“, „Transparency of Payments to Healthcare Professionals, Healthcare Organisations and Patients Organisations“, „Update and EU competition law developments“, „Dyspnoea: consequences of bird flu or regulatory export regime?“, „EMA in Amsterdam. Perspective from the Dutch Medicine Agency“, „Update on significant EU regulatory developments“ and „The EFPIA perspective on GDPR and its implementation“ auf der Agenda.
The General Data Protection Regulation Act is a law that was introduced in the European Union for protecting the rights and privacy of citizens of the EU. Covering the regulation briefly, VISTA InfoSec has come up with an interesting short 5 minutes video that talks about what the regulation is and to whom does the regulation apply.
