Once in two months I do some archival work at the Ministry of Social Affairs. It has to do with the GDPR (AVG in Dutch) and the Public Records Act (Archiefwet). Some documents has to be destroyed once every few months.

Organizatori događanja bili su Sveučilišni računski centar i Centar potpore e-učenju Filozofskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. There have long been differences between privacy laws in the US and Europe, leading to some tension and posing challenges for US-based companies with large user bases in Europe. The looming implementation of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which imposes significant new obligations on companies, and the upcoming review of the US-EU Privacy Shield give added urgency to the issues. Boalt alum and Google in-house counsel Liz Eraker Palley helps lead Google’s efforts to develop a global privacy and data governance strategy.
