Some of the damage caused by Hurricane Sandy
Most of the damage in this area was caused by trees falling on cars and houses.
Not only did this tree totally destroy the car it landed on but it yanked up a gas line in the process.
As of today (almost a week after the storm), this tree is still laying across the road and the gas line is still exposed.
