Winner of best book structure! Glad to know I can make real book and edible books :-)! Tina is a turnip I carved with goat cheese eyes, peppercorn pupils, red pepper lips, chocolate licorice hair, eggplant bowler hat, rice paper button down, black licorice tie, bread dough arms, kiwi fuzz arm hair, rice grain fingernails, icing. Book structure is puff pastry and pastry cream-otherwise known as the napoleon (which is a deep pun on the title bossypants).
Day 359: It's gotten cooler finally here in Chicago, so that means my Cookie Monster socks get to make their appearance for the cold weather season :) My cat, Fuzz, decided he needed to be in on the camera action, you can see him walking by behind my feet :)
We had took the Fuzz out and to his favorite Petsmart in April of 2007 for Petsmart's Birthday party celebrating their years that they were open. The Fuzz was the only cat who was at the party, and as common and usual. He doesnt look to happy with his birthday hat on his head. But he does love going to Petsmart and their little parties they have.
Fuzz went to the TV to look at the Discovery Channel logo but then got interested in penguins. I hear penguins taste like cold chicken.
This is a pedal I built around 94' based on a modified Foxtone octave fuzz. This was my defining sound in a band named "the plastic factory" (yes, after the captain beefheart song). My mates dubbed it the "fuzz factory" for obvious reasons. Note that I never bothered to clean the road grime off of the VW hubcap. To this day, whenever I play through this fuzz, I just seem to play better. It is the most inspiring thing I have built to date. I installed a crude feedback circuit consisting of a cap and a pot from the input to the output, this somehow fed the output back into the input causing ridiculous amounts of noise and gain. The switch on the left adds the octave, the switch on the right adds the feedback, the pots control feedback level, gain, tone, and output level. Truly a piece of art!
