Vintage fuse box in the hospital complex at the decommissioned Army Air Corps base in Wendover, Utah.
Under the hood fuse box of a Subaru Outback
I struggled with this theme as electronic components just give me an immediate stuffy feeling. I was scratching my head and ready to throw in the towel until I popped the hood of my car (surroundings that are more comfortable). As soon as I opened the fuse panel I knew that little chartreuse 20 amp fuse was going to be my centerpiece. Its color was almost fluorescent in the muted morning light I had to work with, and it played nicely with the blue and black surrounding.

Annoyingly the only place I could find a 1.5A glass fuse was in an old DC power supply... which I planned to use to make the fuse wire glow! I will find another 1.5A fuse the right size and revisit.
I needed more DOF as the top is way out, but ran out of time and batteries in the speedlight were flat.

I got fussed at for not posting pictures of WIP's recently, so here ya go. A little something different for me.
Now I have to go put bails on them. (Oops, I said "bail" so now Michelle is trying to figure out how to email me some xanax before I start my daily stress and rant on finding the perfect non-silver-plated solution for quick and easy and elegant bails that don't cost a fortune or take 2 days to make.)
