Have a great day, everyone!
Found this old FUSE in my husbands work shop.
In electronics and electrical engineering, a fuse is an electrical SAFETY device that operates to provide over current protection of an electrical circuit.
Macro Monday.
Safety.
#BackInTheDay #MacroMondays Although fuses & fuse boxes may still be in use, they have pretty much been replaced by breakers and breaker boxes
Something tells me this fuse box isn't quite up to code. Alviso, California.
Update: Not saying this was the cause, but this building, the H.G. Wade Warehouse, burned down this past weekend. Just sayin'.
This young lady was created entirely using Adobe Fuse - she is NOT real! I had hoped to introduce models into various real pictures to add interest, but unfortunately, the rendition isn't realistic enough to place them in good lighting, but you may spot one or two in the background or shadows in future.

Millie is a bit like an old electrical panel: it only takes a spark for her to “blow a fuse” with flair !
You could even say she has a natural talent for tripping circuits, so much so that you wonder if the power company should be paying her royalties 😉
But hey, at least with Millie, life is never boring—when she loses her cool, it’s always a show, like fireworks… except this time, it’s her temper that’s exploding !
A fuse is an electrical safety device.
When a fault occurs the wire inside the fuse melts due to the increased current through the circuit and disconnects the circuit from the supply. The replacement fuse should be a perfect match to the original fuse.
For the group MacroMondays. This week's theme: #Safety
